The, "I'll pose for pics & sign autographs" B-day tour! WEEERE BAAACK!!!!

Oh, I'm with Erika - where and when she goes, I go, too! So, the 8th or the 9th - can't remember which!

Just a quick drive by to say thanks for reading...hopefully those not responding but reading are not in need of therapy...

I just found out that we may have 2 going to prom! :scared1:

Actually I would be thrilled but getting down to the wire to find dresses.

Carsyn's boyfriend is a Junior and had previously said he did not want to go this year..but it turns out money is his main concern..so we will do what we can to help them out...he is in a bad situation with a mom who is still getting child support but he lives with his dad...so dad can't afford to help him and mom is refusing to give any money that is supposed to be going to costs raisinghim...courts know Kyle moved houses...but are slow to change child support....it has been since last summer.:headache:

I just don't get how a woman can feel good about going on trips, getting her kitchen re-done and spending child support funds on herself..she gave Kyle socks and Superman stickers for Christmas. He is 17. I know he was hurt and embarrassed because it was obvious she threw together something and he opened it in front of Carsyn.

Okay...rant not on topic over...just keep him in your thoughts...he is hurting right now and at 17 you can make a lot of dumb choices...so far he is choosing to talk with Carsyn...which is very grown up.

Making firm commitments on paper...:rotfl2: ...for the December trip...need some facts and figures on how we will swing this...and what we will do...

***Does anyone live around Indianappolis??? I will be there for a soccer tourney over the weekend of April 18th.....maybe we can have a meet and greet???:woohoo:

Forget Disney plans for a moment, I want to see prom dress pictures! What kind of dress is Carsyn looking for?

Another vote for getting there earlier!!! :goodvibes I would love to extend my trip past three days, but since I am coming without the kids, that is not possible. Ok, confession time...my oldest is almost 9 and the most I have ever been away from any of the kids is 3 days...and that has only been twice! :scared1: Yup, we never leave the kids! Just can stand the idea of it. Warped, I know...

I only went away for the night when my DS's were 3 and 1. They are now 9 and 6 plus I have another DD2. I just enjoy their company I guess even though at times I pull my hair out.

peco bills- just ok to me
pizzafari
tusker house
japaneese for some sushi

i've got prom dresses I could send you via UPS-

well, they arent "MINE"

One is a size zero- how can a number that has no value be a size?-
and the other is a 2. The "0" is jeweled, strapless with an open back and burnt orange, the "2" is white with jeweled straps, drops low on the lower back and looks like a dress on a greek goddess-

If you get in a pinch and cant find something, I'll share- although most girls like picking out their own. DD1 found a dress for this year at the Jessica McClintoc store for $50 - black statin on top and mint green satin skirt from an empire waist- very simple but very pretty on her and again a size 2.

So I realized I had not posted a picture of me yet...here is one of me and Dan. Dan is my best friend, the most wonderful man I ever have been privaleged to know and the person who at his core has made me realize that all men are not created equal...because he makes me feel amazing.

After realizing my marriage was not healthy and it was over...I never thought I would want to open up to another man in my life...I am so glad I was wrong..

The hope is he will be attending our little expedition in December as well...

By the way....Carsyn has not began the dress search..so we will look this weekend and let you know...Treyner's tux is Calvin Klein and $160....it has 1 button and very sleek....he looked amazing....it will be fun if they both go for pics...:woohoo:

Carsyn is a size 7-9....she is very muscular....and I think that Prom is motivating her to tighten up her tummy....the only place she carries any weight...so I hope she pics a dress that is flowy around the middle so it does not look to big if she looses weight/tightens up.

Her and I have a very different build as far as bone structure....She is a brick house..more muscle than her brother...

When I was 14..I was a waif...100 pounds max and looked longingly at the athletic built girls like Carsyn...Her hair is naturally curly and beautiful...she can throw it in a lose bun...like today...and look like she spent $100 on a up-do....so she usually wants her hair straight for special occasions! :lmao:

We are off to the YMCA tonight...so maybe we will both be in better shape for prom!!:yay:

Even though it's a preview to my trip report I have to tell you that I did brave Crushin Gusher I had visions of your ride flashing in my mind as I climb the stairs, seriously I was a scared of that ride. DH and I survived it though and it was a blast!

:dance3: So the trip in December....The cast of characters is

Dawn - Me 37 by the time of the trip...UGH!!! :scared1:
Treyner - celebrating his 18th at Disney :cake:
Carsyn - 15 and driving with a permit by December :drive:
Baylor - 12 and hopefully in the 7th grade (J/K....his grades are up!!:cool1: )

Additional Characters
Grumpyyoungguy....AKA Dan...will probably travel with us and be there the whole time

born2bird....arriving earlier and leaving the 7th...hence and early arrival from us is warranted...her trip was planned before...

GoofyFan-12 - AKA Paula...her family will consist of (her, sister and mom & dad) They will arrive a little earlier and are leaving while we are still there..I'll figure out dates and update.....and are staying at Saratoga) This was planned before as well..

Then there are the girls who said..hey...4 Body Board Babes in one place...sounds like a party... :cheer2: so let's go too...

3DisKids....AKA Erika, SeptemberGirl...AKA Liz, HockeyKat...AKA Katherine

are the ones I know that for sure are coming and staying at Saratoga all together...
Yes...this is all due to a weight loss thread!!

Possible additional attendees...DisneyWorldDelight..MamaBearJo and a few others are still batting around the idea..

Glad you did not need the anus stappler!!;)

"Picked a fine time to leave me Lucy...3 hungry kids and a man whose wife has only 1 nip...
I've had some bad times...
lived through some sad times...
but nothing like old, one-eye, patchy tit!"

Please tell me someone else thinks this is funny cause...I am laughing my hind end off and my daughter...up studying for finals...thinks her mama is off the deep end.

Ok, about a year ago Kenny Rogers toured over here in the UK - now I have grown up on Kenny (not literally, that would be a whole 'nother thread!), so I went to see him in concert. Now, thanks to the above quote, I can TOTALLY picture Kenny singing Lucille with the above lyrics! :lmao:

Truthfully..ebery time I see MamaBearJo's hubby..I think of this song..:rotfl:

He is a gruff, mountain man...not exactly Kenny..but he'll do!

Hi! Glad I hooked your lip and drug you here... This leads me to a ....

Side story....My grandmother was God's worst fisherwoman.:fish: She lived in Minnesota her whole life...fished her whole life...and almost killed people her whole life. Not with your traditional firearm, knife or runaway vehicle...not with some poision, smoothering or choking...

No her weapon...

a fish hook..

I am not slightly embellishing that every time I remember we went fishing...someone ended up getting metal removed...it could be from shore..from a boat..or from a dock...that lady was consistant.

She also swore..like a Navy sailor...pirate:

which my grandpa was...

and she was fierce...

like Tyra Banks.:cool2:

One time in particular...we were on the shore..she casted...

everyone hit the ground in anticipation :worship:

...except my grandpa who was deaf as a post unless he wore his hearing aids which he refused to do...:hyper2:

So as she lurched her arm forward.. :scared:

a scream came from the bowls of a young girl... princess:

or a 330 pound Grandpa with a hook in his lower lip...:scared1:

She was no quitter..she had my headphones on (circa 1985 big ole headphones) because she thought she might like to listen to some Polka music while fishing and you know nothing says fresh walleye like Polka...

and anyway..she did not know that a grown man was looking at her in panic from behind...pleading with his eyes for mercy...

But..good old Grandma....she was a dominatrix...;)

and yanked and yanked as he screamed and screamed...and all of us who now knew the slaughter of said lower lip...tackled her to the ground...ripping the pole from her hands...

I am sure to normal onlookers..those pickinicking and such...we looked like a psychotic family...Grandpa screaming...grandma being tackled by her grown sons.... :sad2:

I am sure that those with elderly relatives whom they just picked up from Sunny Acres for an afternoon outing...was looking at them saying..."see...quit complaining."

Grandpa and the ER Doc...laughed...it took several stiches and a tetnus shot...but he still loved her...and she never appologized..in fact..she said..."well what sort of dumb son of a b... would stand behind me fishing?" :rotfl2: Gosh I miss her...
:lovestruc

So today I vow to get an idea of where we want to eat..what we want to do and how I will fit it all in...

One idea I just heard on the Podcast...is to get an autograph book for Treyner..not for characters...but for people...

To have anyone who wishes Treyner a Happy Birthday ..sign his book....

An idea I have....

Have them write a piece of advice they wished they knew when they were 18. :thumbsup2

I know it is crazy early...but I think I will head to Home Depot and get a bunch of Mickeyheads for our countdown...Do weeks before Disney..then 1 month ahead of time do days...

It will probably involve multiple trips since how many Mickey Heads can one person pilfer at a time??? :cool2: Not that I would do such a thing....:sad2:

Okay..I will post a little bit later...new info and the 3 nipple man..by request!!:rotfl2:
