And my mother just called and my dad was taken by ambulance to the hospital this morning and is currently in the ER. She told me not to worry about them and to just go and enjoy our vacation.

Honestly, I don't know what to say other than we're here for you if you need a place to cry or vent or yell. I know you have people in real life to depend on, but we're here nonetheless.
