The "I sent/received my YC" thread.

It's true....it's true..... good things really do come to those who wait!!!! My YC ensemble came from ChelseaandAustin's mom. I received the following:

large jar Harvest candle (burning now),
votives:chocolate truffle, blueberry muffin and harvest
tart burners: pumpkin pie (awww shucks, now I have to buy myself a tart burner!
two little packages of YC lotion and
an adorable snowman ornament!

And to top it off, a very nice note from Diane! The more I do these exchanges, the more I feel that I get to "know" a little more about each of you that I have exchanged with! Thank you for sharing a part of your life with me!

Von sent me a small Christmas cookie jar, 3 votives (buttercream, christmas cookie and chocolate truffle) a sachet and some adorable little ornaments!!! Wow what a selection!!!

Oh, I lost the sachet to my 4 year old. She claimed it about 2 minutes after the box was open She loves the reindeer attaches to it. She walked away saying...."Mom you have a really nice friend to send you such cool stuff!"

I received a nice box filled with goodies! It had: 4 tarts, oatmeal cookie, spiced pumpkin,spiced pear and warm apple crisp. Also included was a hollyberry votive candle and a beautiful votive holder with a cardinal on it (how did you know I love cardinals?!). Last but not least was a gingerbread jar candle, which is burning right now and smells so good! Thank you Snow White!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much chase444! My box arrived this morning. I got a large vineyard housewarming jar, a adorable pumpkin tealight holder with tealights. A very pretty glass holder and voltive which smells like some kind of spice. I love it all very much, thanks again!!

I also need to apolize for being late with mine. I was on vacation last week and got hurt. SO I was stuck in Puerto Rico and had a large cast put on my leg. My son is going to shop today and It will be going out first thing tomorrow.

Just an update on the sent/received. I still have 7 that haven't sent theirs out. 3 of the 7 have had things happen out of their control and plan on getting them in the mail the other 4 I'm still trying to get in touch with. If you have sent out your candle and haven't posted here or pm'd me yet, please do. So 32/39 sent.

27 have received their candles. One was mis-delivered by UPS and that is being straighten out so 27/39 have been received. 4 of the other sent candles are not accounted for yet so if you've received your candle and not posted yet, please let us know as soon as you can. I know ya'll know this but just doing my duties.

Thanks for saying so Shep. I believe you've done the YC exchange before from what I've read. The enjoyment comes from seeing everyones "excited" posts. This really has been fun. Like you, I just want everyone to get their goodies.

Yes, yes, yes! It was my candle! I was so excited to open the mailbox and see a Yankee Candle box in there yesterday.

Let's see in my box was a 3.7oz jar Christmas Wreath scent, WOOHOO! I love that scent! 3 tarts, 1 is Christmas Wreath, 1 is Mistletoe (Another favorite!), and 1 is Fireside (have never burned it but it smells pretty good!) and a Christmas Wreath car jar!

I loved everything, how exciting! Thanks Kami! I'm going to have some wonderful smells at the house and in my office!
