These are some of your favorite foods you had that are no longer served, or have been changed to sommething else. I'll start with the Triple Play Tuna Sandwich from the ESPN Club. It was served in a pita and went well with the wings or Nachos. They have changed it to the Triple Play Turkey and Brie sandwich, and it nowhere compares to the tuna . My other food was the Skewered Tiger shrimp from O'hana'.The shrimp they bring out isn't the same as fire grilled.

There used to be a restaurant in Adventureland that was sponsored by Kikkoman. They used to have the best teriyaki burgers and chicken sandwiches.

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

I miss the mushroom caps stuffed with sausage and cheese appetizer at Harry's Safari. But heck--even the restaurant isn't there any more!

I miss the tuna pita at the ESPN Club and I miss beavertails at the Canadian pavilion in Epcot.

I'm sure there are other things, but I can't think of them right now!

Oh wait! I just remembered ... I miss the Stormalong at Hurricane Hannah's and I miss the Espresso Chiller at every bar. :rotfl2:

the watermelon martin at HBD. The Scallop appetizer at Chefs De France, I could have lived on it. the Souffe's at California Grill always a hilight for us.

kae

The great Stickey Buns at River Side when it was called Dixie Landings.

I knew I'd remember something else ... fresh donuts made daily at the Boardwalk Bakery. :cloud9:

Replacing them with Krispy Kremes is a Krime! :lmao:

I miss the cinnamon french toast at the Trails End at FW. And having beignets at the TS restaurant (Scat Cats?) was much better than at the CS at Port Orleans.

I miss the beef stew in the bread bowl that Tusker House had when it first opened, the chicken and meatball stew that Le Cellier used to have years ago and the steak sandwich the American section at EPCOT used to have at their CS.

I miss the lamb & barley soup the Rose & Crown used to have - amazing! Oh, and the chicken pasty they had, also. Their new menu is nowhere near as good... :confused3

Where to begin? Hmm, at the very beginning, I would think...

Handwiches. Remember those? They went the way of the dinosaur along with....the buffeteria. I remember the one in the Contemporary before Chef Mickey's went in there, and I remember when Crystal Palace was one before it served meals with a side of....Pooh. :crazy2:

And remember the ice cream bar made with chocolate :cloud9: ice cream with caramel on one side, enrobed in the chocolate shell? They were first introduced as the Hunchback bar, to promote that movie. And then it became the Hercules bar...you see where I'm going with this, right? I think eventually Goofy put his name on the bar before it went away. :(

The most recent thing I miss is the pork and duck firecracker appetizer at Jiko. I blame the DDP for that. Along with a bunch of other menu changes since circa 2006 or so. Evil DDP! :stir:

How Could I forget to say Beaver Tails as one my favorites that is gone! Dam (excuse the pun) You Canada! They also have taken the Clagary BBQ Prime Rib Sandwich off the lunch menu at LeCellier too!:headache:

Kona chowder and the Mahi Mahi from there. Also just miss everything about the Empress Lilly

Rib-eye from Le Cellier

Bread bowl the chowder was served in at Columbia Harbour House.

Tonga Toast from the Contemporary room service.

A version of this is still available, it's just not as good. I miss the old Citrus Swirls served at the Sunshine Tree Terrace just outside the Tiki Room. It used to be soft-frozen orange juice swirled with vanilla ice cream. Now it's soft-serve orange ice cream swirled with soft-serve vanilla ice cream. Just not the same.

My DH agrees with you!

My entire family misses the Pink Leilani at Kona and Tangaroa Terrace. It was a nonalcoholic frozen juice with crushed strawberries,oj and a splash of grenadine.

My DH misses GF Ice Tea. Tea, lemonade, cloves, and cinnamon.

We all miss lobster at lunch at Narcoossee's.

Macadamia nut mahi mahi at Kona.:sad1:

I miss-
1. the chicken caesar salad that used to be served at CRT before it was a character meal.
2. antipasto salad at PVH
3. the chocolate wave having vanilla ice cream on it at Coral Reef-without the ice cream, I tried it only once.
4. cream cheese pretzel at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner in the Studios
