I'm certainly not bored with your posts..not in the least. I'm very glad that your health is so much better---being a survivor is an acheivment that can never be taken away from you.

Having said that, I really hope you have a MAGICAL time at Disney. My wife and I were supposed to be going in January but after talking about it, we've decided to wait until late September, when it's still warm and the days are a bit longer---besides this will give us time to find a cheaper flight. We're going to pay for the entire trip or at least half. And we'll have time to save more $$$ to buy Disney stuff

I will never be too tired to hear from a Disney friend so fell free to post as much as you want it helps keep my mind off the 26 more days till I go. If I stop for too long and think about it I'll go insane so think of it as your civic duty to keep the little men with the fancy white straight jackets away.

How are you feeling?

My sinuses are doing better, I caught it fairly early by taking Mucinex (shhh. don't tell my doctor, I am not suppose to take over the counter meds)
My knee is still swollen and hurts to bend but not as bad as it did.

I'm glad your ticker came home!! I couldn't see it either!

Thanks,I'm checking out webshots after I get off here, I promise I will have this picture thing master by the time we get back from vacation because I will have lots and lots of pictures to post.

Went shopping after work today at Kohl's to buy a couple of bra's and the most embarrassing thing happened....
First I'll start by saying I tried on what seemed like 100's of bra's to find the right ones,this is a really hard task for me. They were on sale buy 1 get 1 at 1/2 off and I had a 30 % off coupon . Well I get up to the register to pay put all 4 bra's on the counter and the other items I was buying I had my charge card in my jacket pocket so I wouldn't have to take time to dig it out of my purse, salesclerk rings everything up then stands there looking at me, smiling I smile back after this goes on for a couple of minutes she proceeds to ask me if I want to buy the bra that somehow has attached itself to my purse( my purse is made of some kind of knitted material) standing behind me is a very long line and everyone starts starring at me After politely apologizing I tell her no it accidentally got stuck on there from my many trying on's.
Then as I get to the door to exit the door alarm goes off....
It was not my fault the saleclerk forgot to de-scan the video my son wanted me to pick up for him. Now it was my turn to look at the salesclerk and smile

They have already told me that my knee will need surgery in the future, I'm just getting by till then. But hey if I have to crawl to get around Disney I WILL.

I have a feeling this is just the beginning of our sinus/cold/flu season.

The Mucinex worked great for both my DH and I..... they have different kinds and some times they run coupons for $1.00-$2.00 off.It is not cheap it runs around $9.00-$12.00.

I'm having another sleepless night so here I sit and with a cat in my lap nd two laying beside me.Who needs blankets when you have cats to keep you warm.

I will let you know how webshots works compared to photobucket ...like I said I'm going to try both this week-end when I get time to take some pictures to post.

I had alot of different emotions that day starting with being tired and not in the mood to go double barrel sling shot buying,.........then annoyed with the register lady for standing there with that silly smile on her face then insinuating I was trying to carry out a bra attached to my purse so blatantly obvious....to embarassed when the alarms went off, which was not my fault but it was the smiling register lady's.for not de-coding the video....to the finale "take this" emotion I gave to the register lady with my SMILE I returned to her....and last but not least anger at the whole situation. I mean if I was going to steal a bra it would have been the one of the ones I paid for that cost me $36.00 not the one attached which was only $22.00.Or the $45.00 video my son wanted.Now that would be worth me going to jail over.
But today it is an emotion of when I repeat to others at work my story of how I got caught with the goods..and them telling me how I'd make a great shoplifter.The proceeded in giving me tips on how not to get caught. Like hide it inside your purse not on the outside.
A couple of the nurses and aides all day teased me and even went as far as to find a bra or two that belong to some of our patients and attaching them to my purse while it was in the breakroom.Walking out with like four of them attached.
When teling my friend this she laughed because she was with me when we had to make a long walk back into a very crowded mall after I realised when we got to the car that they forgot to charge me for 3 -.25 notebooks from Staples when they had them on sale in Sept.

Hey I was ready to do a strip search right there in front of everyone to prove to this security man(which by the way was very nice) that I didn't have anything. I mean hey how could I make it to Disney if I'm in jail.I don't think Mickey would approve.

I have some really good news to share with you all but will wait till tomorrow to share.

I got "Wished On"

I came home last night and opened my mail to find not one but two cards both of them were Disney themed and inside were checks $100.00 in each one. They were from two of the daughters of one of my patients( I have taken care of their mother for 10 years they live in California so she has no family here to care for her just me) with a note saying it was for me to use in Disney. That's $200.00 spending money
Maybe they thought I'd need it to bail myself out of jail.

We are suppose to get our first snow this week end
