thanks for all the advice and suggestions-the girls that took my son's stuff were on my classroom computer during girl scouts after school ( I talked to one of the parents who serve as leaders and they said the girls told them it was ok to use the computer-it was for a project...I give up) and whatever they said or did must have caused the ban of the computer....seems like someone should be able to check the time logs ) Yes I have written several letters begging for some kind of help-nothing and no they were never warned, banned-nothing in spite of the fact that it turns out they did this to others as well. I read the post above from the kids who also took someone's things as a joke-virtual or not, it's just not funny when you're 10-or any age for that matter-hope someone learns a lesson from this-I know we did. On a happier note thanks to the amny wonderful people who have sent or traded my son's things to help replace his stuff. Dis rocks!

omg i got ban from vmk for saying... well see yeah im going on hey low =halo.i said it in front of people to so then i get ban for 1 month yay what am i going to do for 1 month i want to go on vmk but i get ip ban for month........ well that sucks i guess i have to play halo and stuff like that for 1 month im to addicted to vmk to woot i got ban!!

Usually I'd bug you about bumping an ancient thread, but not now. We REALLY needed this thread to be bumped back up, to many people are making new threads about bans.

And I'm sorry to hear about your ban, maybe one of the moderators that saw it was savvy enough to know that you can communicate on it. I think you can, right? I doubt this next thought, but maybe it was just about talking about a M rated game? Are you sure you haven't said ANYTHING else that might have been innapropriate in the last few days, or even weeks? They don't ban you as soon as you make an offense.

I just got banned for a week. It was because I was trying to help someone with getting magic. I was trying to give them my name on here, and then the VMK ppl decided to ban me.

You'll laugh, but the SAME exact thing happened last week. I guess I should stop helping ppl then considering the outcomes..

Do NOT give out your DIS Boards name, our anyother user name on VMK. They WILL ban you for it, as it is considered personal info. I've done it in PM's a few times, but I don't think that is even safe.

well i said shut the he'll up to somone for being annoying and would not stop asking me for free stuff i was at main street then i left then a few days later i talked about halo or whatever and now im ban for 1 month! how fun is this..... i got to get back on vmk i have nothing else to do better go to the contact us section!

If VMK bans you for a reason (as I see they did in your case), they don't want you getting back on.

What, do you think that is okay in VMK? It's not like they would ban you for dancing around to Halo but not for saying that. Remember, this game is targeted for young kids. Although they say they love for people of all ages to be on, that doesn't mean you get to treat everyone like they are as old as you.

here is what happen i was in main street hanging out with a friend then later he traded me and said hey give me free items or i report you and then i said shut the <removed> up then he quit trade. few days later. then i went and to my room and was hanging with another friend then that guy found me and said i reported you!! and i wondered what happen then i said oh well i going on hey low. exit out.. 1 hour later i go on and says. you are ban for harassing and cant go on for 1 month or 10 years!! /= woot i will now dance in my ban you know a way to get on vmk instead of waiting a month or 10 years!!!!!!
