Awwww! I'm glad Alecia is feeling better, but I didn't know about your arm. There's nothing they can do???Good Morning Hyena's!!!
Alecia seemed fine this morning (and most the afternoon yesterday) so off to school she went. We will have to just keep an eye on her and make sure she is ok.
I finally dragged my butt to urgent care last night (I haven't really been able to move my right arm since Thursday) and come to find out I have bursitis
. Not a dang thing they can do about it is drug me and tell me not to use my right arm - like that is really going to happen

I hope the drugs help, at least. What kind of drugs? Are they just muscle relaxants or some such thing? Anti-inflammatories? I have NO IDEA what bursitis is...![]()
Alex, glad to hear that the bump on DS's head was not too serious. I feel for ya and the homework stuff. My last one was famous for that kind of stuff. But there is hope, she now does everything on time, and is making excellent grades.
Where has Gina been???
Percocet? GEESH, that must be painful, I think that's what they prescribed after my abdominal surgery!Crazy thing is it is typically a sports injury - DH made the comment that I was the laziest person he knew to ever get it. Anyways, there is seriously nothing that can be done, just rest
and they gave me some percocet to deal with the pain

Be sure to take it with food, I could barely eat after the surgery, so had about half a piece of toast with the percocet, and it NAILED my stomach.![]()
Wow. You must have been hell-on-wheels as a kid!![]()
Bummer about your arm Dizzy, my mom had bursitits in her hip once. Woke up and had pain -- she is not the type to exercise or any sports.
By the end of the evening, when she sat on the floor, she couldn't get up again!
They did some cortisone shots into the joint to help relieve the inflammation.
The shots are painful, but they do help. Her hip was better within a few days.
Hopefully you will heal quickly, but if it still aggravates you .. see if you can have more treatment.![]()
