we all sat there with our mouths open at the end and didnt even get up to move for like 3 minutes and we almost missed the whole thing not knowing what the room could do...oh and they have a part where they tell a child to go open up a dresser drawer that shakes and then light comes out because its tinkerbell locked up and the child sets her free...so make sure you tell them you want to see the story ...they may put the boys on the bed...they did for lauren and mantha

omg alex...listen to me....if there is one thing and im dead serious about this...if there is one thing that you HAVE to do on your trip it is to go to the dream house in innoventions...they have a little boys room and the bed is a ship and has a cannon, Big Ben on the wall clock...windows with twinkling stars AND....they tell the story of peter pan and it is in animation with sound and vision....its like watching a movie while you tell the story...the clock lites up...tinkerbell flies around the room, the ceiling is a HUGE tinkerbell and at the end they pull the cannon and it blows out smoke...it was the most amazing thing Ive EVER seen in my life...you HAVE to take the boys!!

Ohhhhh wow! That sounds so cool! They both love the story, but DS4 would go NUTS over that!!!

the tour was good...they gave us these glow ropes around our neck with old fashioned keys on the end that said Disneyland in that old fashioned D...then it said "Ghost Relations" they let us keep them and they gave us cinnamon candied apples wrapped up really cute

GOSH, the time is coming up so fast now! I need to finalize our plans! Haven't done ressies yet, haven't got transporation (other than airfare) lined up... There's this holiday tour that sounds awesome, but I'm not sure if DS4 would love it or be bored, you know? You ride rides, they tell a bit of history as you walk, you get to watch a parade from special viewing, you stop for a gingerbread cookie and hot cocoa... Love it!

Good afternoon, hyenas!
WOW. Another spectacularly sunny day in Seattle! I could seriously get used to this!

Not much going on today; DH is working from home this afternoon (he "took the day off" ), DS4 is avoiding nap, and I just got back from a run to the store to get DS4 some socks that were on sale. (I don't know what he's done with all his socks... outgrown them? tossed them under his bed? He just doesn't have very many pair, it's weird!)

I'm about to get Ds8 from school, and then DS4 and I will go to his gymnastics class, and DS8 and DH will head out to DH's soccer practice. (DS likes to "help coach" the younger kids, it's pretty cute.)

Not much - DD stayed home from school today with tummy pains - and I need to find yet another doctor. The last one can no longer practice medicine (pill popper) and the idiot we saw today has to go. DD has had tummy pains (sometimes severe) since Friday. I realize it is strange that it is without symptoms or side effects, just tummy pain. Well, we see the new doctor today. First thing that blows my mind is they did not take her temperature or blood pressure . Then he tells me that there is nothing wrong - it is psychosomatic and has there been trouble at home. When I tell him nothing at all, everything has been fine and normal he asks if I have been fighting with my DH or anything else. I again tell him no, and also (along the same lines) told him there were no problems at school. He snaps at me and says school is not an issue for that age, only problems at home (giving me an evil look).

I had a string of them about that age... The cause? I was always running late for school in the morning, so my mom made me go without breakfast so I wouldn't be late. After 3 or 4 trips to the school nurse, she called my mom, who then shed some light. THEN Mom made sure I was eating breakfast before school.

No doubt. I am sure stress at home etc. and believe me I went through my head and we had a great weekend. The first incident was after we went as a family to dairy queen . That evil place - full of pain and hardship. Then after HSM3 - then on Sunday when we went to get food (which is really a treat nowadays). I could see maybe she is clamoring for attention - and I will keep that in mind, but to keep drilling me seemed ridiculous. Problem is I think I am out of doctors here - I will be going just to urgent care it seems from now on.

I am still concerned though, all problems happen after eating - I swear if she wasn't 7 they would care

I think I am seriously out of peditricians - and we haven't been able to find a doctor for us - so urgent care it will be if it gets worse. She is sleeping now - not normal for my 7yo. I am concerned - and it is usually right after she eats. But she drinks tons of water, and eats pretty healthy - so I just don't know

Lately it has been getting worse - hence my concern. Friday she was fine going to bed - Saturday same thing. Yesterday it bothered her bad at 3pm, and she laid down for hours - but would randomly get up and run around. I gave her Tums, and it seemed to make it a bit better. This morning she woke up, made a bagel, and then came to my room saying it hurt bad. She has mainly been lethargic ever since. Going to the doctor was supposed to make me feel better (yes, and her), but I am still worried about her - and I really did not like him
