I love strawberry shortcake. Not the spongie kind from the store, though. My mom makes a bisquick version that I like.

I dont like how the juices from the strawberries make the cake all mushy. GAG. I have to eat it all separate. A slice of pound cake.. a bowl of strawberries.. and some whipped cream on the side.

Huh. That documentary was the program Frontline. Apparently there's more to it online. I might check that out tomorrow.

It's time to get to bed now. Kids were up far later than normal, so I know are going to be difficult to wake in the morning.

Exactly. I could EASILY pass for 6 months pg NOW. and honestly.. This has all happened in the past month or so. I am really getting a little bit bigger every day. I am only 16 weeks for crying out loud!! I should barely have a bump showing!

Well, back to laundry. We had an awesome trip. The Halloween Party was AWESOME!!!! Cant wait to hear about all of your halloween adventures at Disneyland.

Good morning, hyenas!
It was very foggy this morning, but looks like that is burning off. Now it's just overcast, but looks like we might have a chilly, slightly sunny day. Sweet!

Yesterday I RSVP'd for a birthday part DS4 was invited to; the birthday boy is one of his preschool classmates. Anyway, I RSVP'd via email, and also asked the boy's mom if there was anything in particular he would like for a gift. I read her reply this morning, and it was so sweet! She said her boy is SO EXCITED that DS is coming to his party, he says DS is one of his BEST FRIENDS at preschool!

Maybe she's saying that to all the moms, I don't know, but it made me happy.

Anyway, she also gave some good ideas (themes, really) for gifts, so I have plenty to choose from.

Prepare yourself, the CB can get a little rough. You can pretty much guarantee that somebody's always got an opinion on whatever topic comes up.

Not so much this thread, though. This is a chat thread, a group of ladies (and a man or two that pops in) who used to hang out on the Disneyland forum, but got booted to the CB for being too chatty!

Ages vary. I think the youngest is in her early 20s, several girls in later 20s and early 30s, and a handful ranging from 37ish to somewhere in the early 50s, I think.

Most of us are married with children; several of the younger girls are in long-term relationships but not married nor having children. One gal has young grandchildren.
