The leaves are on the ground and it's cold.. typical MN fall.

We are having a pretty nice fall. The leaves are starting to change, a few falling, but not a lot yet. Today was sunny and 58.

Thanks guys! My grandma was with me and she said it reminded her of my grandpa (he was in the airforce). They were $10 at Nordstrom.

I don't understand those sunglesses that look like mini blinds.

There was one episode I saw where the WIFE was the clueless one. She didn't want the kids to throw any toys away because she said they had memories with every single toy. They had an overly cluttered room and it was a mess. She also did everything for her kids and acted like a robot slave. The nanny kept trying to get her to have her kids do things for themselves, such as getting dressed in the morning.

That is ridiculous. I cant handle people doing everything for their kids. I dont do everything for my kids. Not even Mikalah. She is 3. I let her get herself ready in the mornings.. she picks up after herself, and is learning to handle her business. BUT.. In our house, it will be every man for himself in a few months.

Alas, I can't watch the nanny show with all of you.. But I am watching Andrew Zimmerman Bizarre Foods, he's in Los Angeles.

I didn't know until recenlty that he is a MN guy. He grew up in New York but his home is in the twin cities area.

He SHORE is! I saw that last year, I think.. when he did a show in Minnesota.

I get a kick out of the "retro" looks that are popular now, I was having fun laughing at the clothes on display at a local dept store (Herberger's). Teasing my sis, remember when aerobic clothes were popular?? She answers.. umm not really .. I'm older than that
