The Hyena Chat thread: Everyone's welcome!

It's our own errors that cause the problems.. well the cat too. :lmao:

If you miss a clamp or connect something wrong.. there will be a problem. Messy problems this time around.

Usually when we have alarms ringing it means we screwed something up, we did have one error that was due to faulty tubing. Had to send it to the ocmpnay of them to asses why it failed, but of course while in storage waiting for the box to arrive UPS.. the cat bit the tubing. :sad2:

The company laughs when they see our file now: need new water line due to cat teeth damage, faulty cartridge damaged by cat teeth after use. :headache:

I think this time you should say the Dog ate it!:rotfl:

The cat can't take the blame every time.

it will make her neurotic....

oh bummer, no subs needed on Monday.. guess it's hard to call in after a four day weekend.

Went to DL on Friday and met with about 17 ladies at the Cafe Orleans for dinner. That was super nice. Then I rushed off to to the Halloween party with my kids at DCA. We had alot of fun....................but my grandsons fell asleep way too soon, and they didn't get to enjoy very much of it. I wish they could start it sooner. There were so many cute costumes!!! Virtually no lines, except for Midway Mania. But we went there first, so we were able to get in 2 rides back to back. Shortly after the lines grew pretty fast for it.

Lot of candy, and dancing and games. We forgot about the parade until we came on to the end of it.
Melody, we also wished it had started earlier on the day we went (last year.) After having spent a full day in the park (with a nap), and then heading back to DCA after dinner, the kids were wiped out after about 45 minutes.

I remember my back was killing me, but I was willing to stick it out and stay longer. But DH and the kids were DONE, so as sad as it was to leave after such a short time, we did. And I'm sure were better off the next day in the parks for having got a good night's rest. :)

Ahhhh, the Susan Lucci of the presidential race. Maybe this will be his year. ;)

You know all of the other candidates try to convince us how great they are. But do we really know what we are getting until they get in office, nope! Is Ralph Nader any more of a wacko than any of our recent presidents, nope!

I just don't know if I can handle 4 years of Michelle Obama's ugly dresses and every time John McCain is on tv I have to adjust the color just so it doesn't blind us. I for one don't plan on adjusting the color on the tv for 4 years just so I can add some pink to John & his wife if they happen to win.:lmao:

Besides, I kind of liked his VP's statement in the Voter Pamphlet....I was almost voted mayor of SF. You know you can trust a guy that tells the truth in the voter's pamphlet.:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

DD has college classes tomorrow morning, but no high school classes and DS has no school at all. The school is closed for teacher workday. So I think DH & DS are going hunting tomorrow. Snow level is down to about 3,500 feet and they have spent the last couple of weeks working on elk camp. So hopefully the snow will push the elk down a bit lower.:thumbsup2

DH could shoot a deer right now, but elk season doesn't start until the first of November. They are just out "scouting" right now.

I dunno Alison.. watch what you wish for.

No one ever thought a freak like Jesse Ventura would win, surprised everyone when he did!
Wgging his pig stamping bald head for four years as governor in MN.

It was scary!:scared1:

Dixie Lee Ray could have taken Jesse Ventura!:lmao: She was our Governor when Mt. St. Helens erupted, so she was all over the world news. Not a very dainty or feminine creature. As a matter of fact I'm kind of surprised that the mountain had the nerve to erupt when she was governor.

wow, that was an interesting read.. screwy and she liked "muscle" Yep, she would have fit right in with Ventura's head wagging. :rotfl2:

One of the papparazzi entertainment shows got a clip of jesse this year.. he did not look good! Gained weight, looked like a washed up wannabe wrestler-- oh wait, he is!

But it was shocking to see how much he changed after leaving the public eye.

well, just don't pass gas.

Frelan gets his pillow back.
sniff sniff.. honey??
