The Husband's Side - Whirlwind Trippers Strike Again Broken Arm and ALL!

OK, you've piqued my curiosity. Can't wait to read the rest!

The lady in front of us was not happy at all. She was talking to someone on her mini computer/mirror/cellphone/kitchen sink that she was carrying. Y’all remember in high school all the guys who dipped? You know, like Copenhagen kinda stuff? And how it made that circle in their jeans pocket? Surely that’s not just a South Georgia thing. Anyway, she was wearing jeans. Tight I might add. And she kept sticking that thing in her back pocket. I’m not sure exactly how it got in there. Cause, well, baby had back. Not like JRMom’s famous thong picture back, but like “I like big butts and I cannot lie” kind of back. And that phone thing was pretty big. And those jeans were tight. As I mentioned. She was our age, I’m assuming. Dyed blonde hair. Looked as if she was in her 30’s still pretending she was in college. Bit she had a 10ish year old with her. I just think that’s an interesting dichotomy, you know? Mom dressing like a college girl “tramp stamp” and all. (See Neal Boortz’s web site for definition – Boortz.com). I bet little Billy’s friends were always wanting to hang out at his house! LOL

It is a good thing I don't drink my Pepsi at work. I would have been replacing the monitor for sure!
I am really looking forward to the rest of this one. I love Rhonda's reports too, but this will be the first time I get to read both sids of the trip. I am still too new to know if you have both done separate reports but I can't wait to read all! You are one fun couple!

Thanks everyone! Yes, Rhonda and I have both done Trip reports for our recent trips. Just do a search for the Whirlwind Trippers and you should find them. Thanks for the compliments!

Blessings!

MarkyMark,

Awsome report as always (and Rhonda too, I posted on her TR).

Sounds like some good new shows coming up that Wesley would like, Like Nemo shows and Woody and even maybe the royal etiquette thing.

Wow! My night isn't even over yet...awesome again.
I will have to search back to other reports next time (after my vacation - even if not a Disney one) I should probably get some work done tonight (this morning).

I've already read Rhonda's account and teared up. This one was also well worth being late to work for!

** "Baby had back" -- good thing I haven't had my first Coke of the morning because the monitor and keyboard would have had quite a bath.
** Hormones on the monorial -- DD has just turned 13 and is suddenly discovering that boys can be interesting. However, she is shy so perhaps I'll miss this "interaction".
** Epcot is our happy place too (me, DH, DD). We spend more time there than in the other parks.

Glad to hear your side - and while you know Wesley is your blessing, I'm sure he knows you and Rhonda are his blessings too.

Great job, Mark!! Hope you got to sleep in this morning. That was one late night writing session!!!

You guys always get the Magic. But that's because you bring it. The characters know it, and that's why they love Wesley so much. He invites the Magic, not only with his cute little face, but with the BIG smiles and the light in his eyes. You are right, the cast members deserve lots of credit. But so do the 3 of you!!! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to hear about the next one. And I REALLY can't wait to meet you, Wesley, and my borgtwinsis in October!!!!!

Love ya!

So Powerade is what is makin' those Noles turn so crappy!! ;) Don't forget we invented Gatorade there bub!

And NO KRYSTAL'S?? I'm ashamed!!!

I'm sure everyone remembers Wesley because he is so cute but I am sure you and Rhonda actually stop and talk to the characters as well....I know we do, but I can tell you lots of times I see people send their children up and don't even acknowledge them at all...it's pretty sad!!

Ok. Obviously I'm not done yet but this???
However, when I called that afternoon (did you really believe I would wait until night time?)

NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth:

MarkyMark, I loved every word! The tales you and Rho(n)da tell through your eyes and ears take me to my happy Dis-place (MK!!!).

Again, Disney people, please take Stitch off. Give us just Mickey. Or Mickey and Minnie
Can we get an AMEN on that brother???

I love that the princesses love 'our' Wesley. Warms my heart!!!

Can't wait to play in EPCOT with you.

Awesome report as always Mark :cool1:

Your comment about making memories with your Wesley brought tears to my eyes :goodvibes

Although my mom is an integral part of every Disney trip and we wouldn't want it to be any other way  she knows that it's important for my son and I to have time together away from the every day stresses of life. We spend some time during our week trip either an afternoon or an evening with just the two of us. This last trip it was EMH at Epcot as my son is now almost 13 -

I will say this. We know that have been blessed by God. Wesley is a good kid. He is for the most part very well behaved. As I/we have said before, it is in large part, we think due to the fact that we are consistent in our expectations. We see a lot of kids. Some are good, others are bad. What stinks though is when parents say, “Oh stop, now. Don’t do that.” But there’s never any follow-up; no consequence. I think it’s sad when parents decide they want to be a friend instead of a parent. We are consistent with him and he knows what is acceptable and what is not. Someone has told us that we’re too hard on him. But I don’t think so. This is the same person who’s child runs wild with no supervision or control. He does whatever he wants. This person said that we make him act better than the other kids. Well, duh! Most of the other kids are awful. Of course we want him to act better than other kids. We want him to behave. We want him to have respect for adults. To know right from wrong. And he does. Except for when he is tired. LOL.

Great report Mark. Thanks for sharing with us.

I have to say I am dead on with you with regard to how we raise our kids. And I wanted to thank you for your and Rhonda's dedication in doing your best to raise a well rounded and respectful child.

We also have an ongoing struggle with people who think we are too hard on our boys. The most powerful in this fight for the right to decide what is best for our kids is my mother and sister. But church members believe we are raising our boys right (and they get to see them more than Granny and Auntie).

SO stay the course. I know that Wesley will be a great man some day for all your efforts.

What the HECK are you talking about????? Guys who dipped??????

Uh, Mark??? Were those jeans tight??? :teeth:

Great story Mark. I especially like the "tramp stamp" explaination. Its ok. I still like you. Do you have a problem with belly button rings too? Just curious...

sincerely,
