I e-mailed Universal guest services directly about early entry and this is the reply I got:

Thank you for visiting Universal Orlando Online.

In order to qualify for early entry you must have purchased your tickets
through AAA, ACS, CAA, Universal Studios Vacations, or have a
Star/Adventurer, SilverStar, Flex, annual, seasonal, or Celebrity pass. If
you are staying at the Hard Rock or Portofino Bay hotel you also qualify for
early entry.

Early entry days are as follows:

Universal Studios Sundays and Thursdays
Islands of Adventure Mondays and Wednesdays

Early admission time is 8:00am.

Please keep watching us here at http://www.universalorlando.com, as we will
have many exciting and new developments in the next few months.

Best Regards,

Darlene F.

I am printing out this e-mail in case I have trouble entering early.

I bought my tickets from Ticket Mania...does that mean I can't use the early entry? ( I bought the 2 day pass).

I also bought our tickets through "Ticketmania". I guess it shouldn't matter where you purchase your tickets. They all show as two day tickets. Can anyone help?

Well...yes and no. I've bought my tickets through CAA and CAA is printed on the back of the ticket. I would assume the same for AAA and US Vacation purchase tickets. So, if they are being sticky about the policy and the right ticket "sources" are not printed on your ticket, then you are out of luck.

Well, lets see. On the back of the adult tickets it says: Customer New Florida Hol

And the back of the child one says: Guido's Tours A Guil

Maybe Barry Hom and WebmasterAdam can help us out alittle more. They are more informed. I was alittle worried after reading, so I called the 800 number for Universal Studios. I had a lady that I couldn't sometimes understand. She said that if you get a ticket from a timeshare, those are included in the early entry, and she thought our tickets would probably be included. She thought! I tried to call the 800 number for Ticketmania but couldn't get an answer. I am just curious. We were buying the 2 day tickets for 2 reasons: to visit both of the parks and get the early entry. I probably would not have purchased the tickets from "Ticketmania" if it would not have included the early entry. I was also trying to save a few bucks. I guess I am just questioning. I appreciate anyone's professional help. Thanks!

Sorry! By the way Sltrawick, my tickets say the same on the back as yours. And it looks to me that they are coming from maybe a touring co. or timeshares. Hope!

If you buy it from a company or another source, the name of the company will be on the back of the ticket. I would e-mail guest services and ask so that you have it in writing.

Barry-
This may seem like a dumb questions but what does AAA, ACS, CAA stand for. I will be driving from Disney to Universals for 1 day and would like to have the early entry option on my tickets. We also are hoping to do both parks on that one day. Is this possible?

AAA = American Automobile Association
CAA= Canadian Automobile Association

I'm stumped on ACS

Your not going to believe this Kelly but I was just on your absolutely wonderful site. There is sooooooooo much infomation on it. I also just replied to a post on wanting to know where to dine and i directed her to your site. I have been on for about 2 hours now and I already am very well inform. I feel more relaxed now about going to Universals now that I have all the info you have on your site. Thanks and keep up the GREAT site.

My family purchased 2-day passes in November 99 and never used the 2nd day. We plan on using these tickets for our trip in July, and we'll be there on Wed July 4th. Can we use these older tickets and a Portofino Bay Hotel key for early entry?

Unused days on a 2 or 3 day pass never expire, so you can use the ticket along with your Portifino Bay key.

Let me see if I understand this.... We are not staying on site, but I am a AAA member. If I buy my tickets thriugh AAA I am still eligible for Early Entry.

I hope I have this right, because we are Early Risers/Commandos.
