My husband and I are traveling to WDW in 3.5 weeks to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We will be staying at the BWI. We arrive in Orlando very early on November 26th and we leave Orlando in the later evening on December 1st. Our honeymoon consisted of 2 days/nights at Disneyland. We stayed at the Sierra Tower at the Disneyland Hotel. We had one full day to ourselves. On the second day, we treated friends who had flown out from Ohio to be in our wedding to a day at Disneyland.

Here we are, 10 years later. We have moved to and from Colorado (currently in California). We have two wonderful children (son is 8.5, daughter will be 7 tomorrow). There are times when we can get away for a day or two, but mostly just for our anniversary. We have not ever traveled for this period of time alone together. I have been to WDW twice with friends from another Disney message board. My husband has never been.

Other pre-trip reports have done a Cast of Characters type thing, and I will carryon that cute tradition.

Me: Mamabot. Life long lover of all things Disney. First two trips to WDW (POFQ '04, BWV '05) were planned out for me by a WDW veteran. I only had a month each to prepare for those two trips. This time around, I am planning everything mostly on my own. I have really enjoyed acquiring a vast amount of knowledge for everything at WDW, but I still feel as though I don't know enough. I feel like Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. My planning binder is huge, like 4 inches thick.

Husband: Dadabot. Humors my love of Disney. Has only just begun to understand the Disney Magic. Is looking forward to RnRC, Expedition Everest, and for some reason the Finding Nemo show at AK. He does not understand why I am planning so much in advance. And he wants to know why I keep obsessing over something called Test Track.

Kids: Beaubot & Goobot. (Online we are known as the Bot Family:flower3: ). They have to endure a whole week being spoiled by two grandmothers while mom and dad are on their trip. The grandmas have to joy of keeping to the kids' hectic schedule of school, homework, and taekwondo. (I refer to that gentle balancing act as my second job.)

I have really enjoyed reading the DIS as I plan for my trip. This seems like a really great community. And you guys have the best smilies! party:

Me and my husband stayed at the Boardwalk. I rented points from a DVC member. My dh loved the place. We loved walking to Epcot. I planned our Epcot days with our BWI days. Take the boat to MGM, it is to far to walk, unless you like 30 minute walks.

Have a great vacation.

There is a quiet pool, by the Garden View Suites, it is a nice quiet place. It is worth finding if you like swimming.

You will love BWI...we stayed at the BWV in the summer what a great location.

We will be there the same time from the 26th to the 30th for our 11 wedding anniversary (it is Dec. 1st).

Get the pins and hats to wear if you dare.

You will have a blast.

This will be my second stay at Boardwalk. Last time, I stayed with friends on the Villas side of the Boardwalk. The proximity to Epcot was fantastic!

BWI is one of the places I would love to stay at but have not yet. I did book it once but ended up changing it.

Cannot wait to read more...
