QOTD – My reaction to DW falling into a bush, “I’ve got to get a picture of this!”

The Score Thus Far –
# Attractions We've Rode – 16
# Shows We've Seen – 6
# Parades We've Seen – 0
# Fireworks We've Seen – 1.5
# Changes To Our Original Plan – 8

We decided to take a break from cereal for breakfast, so we headed over to the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary Resort for breakfast. Yum, the French Toast is still there and still good! Then we took the monorail over to Epcot.

We were there for the rope drop, and we headed straight to Test Track. We were able to actually ride after a short wait! Good thing we did so, because it would rain later in the day, and this was our only chance! We then finished Future World, and headed back to the World Showcase for more grazing!

We ate at Spain (Paella), Poland (Pierogis with Kielbasa), France (Sausage in Croissant, Elephant Ear), Italy (Pizza with Homemade Mozzarella & Pepperoni), and United States (Clam Chowder). After some light shopping, we headed back to OKW to get ready for dinner. On the way into the room, DW tried to step over a bush (we were taking a short cut), slipped on the wet sidewalk, and fell into a bush!

Tonight we were dining at the Yachtsmen Steakhouse, and we had some great steaks! Our waiter brought out a complimentary dessert sampler, in honor of our Honeymoon! It was awesome!

After dinner it was time for our Illuminations Cruise for Couples. We were to meet four couples down at the Yacht Club marina, but only two couples arrived. What happened to the other two? Read my post, Illuminations Cruise Warning – Please Read & Head !, for details.

The cruise was awesome, our skipper was Cruise Captain himself, Darrell. After cruising around MGM, the Swan/Dolphin, and Boardwalk, he tied us up underneath the bridge between France and England for Illuminations. Everyone on the bridge above us was just watching us, wondering who we were and how we got such great seats. After Darrell tied the boat up, he yelled to the bridge crowd, “Hey everybody! See these two people? They’re on their honeymoon!” Of course, he was pointing at us, and half of Epcot cheered!

Illuminations was awesome, really enjoyed the show. The seats we had were so good we could see the movies being played on the earth! After the show was over, we headed back to the dock, and then back to OKW. Tomorrow was going to be a long day!

Six days down, four more to go!

Sounds like my favorite kind of day--an Epcot and Illuminations day!! The food at the festival sounds awesome, I'd love to be able to go to WDW for the Food and Wine Festival one day. We loved our Illuminations cruise also, the view was so perfect. I loved how you could really see the synchronicity between the music and show.

Our Illuminations cruise was the highlight of our trip and a lot of the credit goes to Cruise Captain (Capt. Derrell). He was great!
