The *Holiday* Thread!!

Cannot avoid it, all the flyers that came to our house last night were christmas-y ones. Grocery stores have trees up and they are beginning to get holiday treats. Holiday commercials are coming...

I'm excited for the holidays, how about you?

I love Christmas, so I'm always excited for it!
One of the radio stations changed over to playing Christmas music already!!!!
Halloween JUST ended..jeeez. I think that's a new record. Usually they wait until closer to Thanksgiving.

A station already playing Christmas music. That is crazy. I love Christmas and all, but come on Halloween was just yesterday. Christmas ushers in for me when at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade I see Santa in his Sleigh.

I love the Macys Thanksgiving Parade. All those floats and balloons and performers and Broadway songs. I hardly ever miss it.

I did last year because I over slept...
But I love watching it.
I never miss the WDW Christmas Parade. We always watch it as we open presents. It my favorite.

I'm EXCITED!!
I started listening to Xmas music at 1 am last night.
Like frig yes.
Silver Bells was played first.
And then I went searching through Itunes for more things to listen to.

I already have basically given my parents what I want for Xmas (LG Voyager and an Ipod dock, I didn't ask for anything else, and won't ask unless they ask me what I want) and I know what I'm getting my mother.

I want to put the tree up now, but she won't let me until at least the weekend before December. Santa comes November 16th (not that I'll be going to see him) and I'm making my friends go to the Xmas parade with me.

I'm just so ready to see Christmas decorations everywhere and hear little kids ttalking about Santa. I love Christmas, just because it means we all get to be together.

I have to make my Christmas list today, and we're going out so I can show my mom some things I want if I can find anything.

I'm really excited for Thanksgiving because my grandma makes the best macaroni and turkey and stuff.
Woohoo. Christmas! I told my mom we needed to make gingerbread cookies this year.
I want to open presents because my cousins will open them for me, say "Oh, that's cute." no matter what it is and throw it at me before getting another one. And it's hilarious.

I think my project this weekend will be putting all the Xmas music on my iTunes...I won't be coming home again until Thanksgiving, and by then I'll be wanting to listen to Xmas music.
Now I'm getting really excited!!!! And it's still over 2 months away. =/

Last year was the first year we had a tv in the living room, but it was in the spot the tree usually goes.
Because I was so adament about having the TV there (because there's no cable hook up anywhere's else in the room) the tree had to go elsewhere. I needed the tv to watch the Disney parade =D

Now I'm getting really excited!!!! And it's still over 2 months away. =/

I know, that's why when I went shopping this morning I got a shock because all the Halloween decorations were down and the store was COVERED in christmas decorations. They've actually started a section at the front of the store for christmas food ideas.
