I assume you're talking about the 12 regenerations rule on Doctor Who.. I can't imagine they'll ignore it, because Steven Moffat's big on continuity. I reckon they'll find a way around it or simply just keep regenerating and be like "oh guess that rule isn't real lol nevermind."
