Seeing a Senior Student crying because my boss just told him/her they won't be graduating because they aren't going to get their credits restored.

Students are warned several times during the year that they are in danger of losing credit either due to excessive absences or class cuts . . .BUT, this one student this morning never tried to rectify his situation and continued to come in late and cut class and unfortunately he won't be graduating . . .

It's sooo very sad . . . :(

That is sad, but it is teaching him a hard lesson that he has to be responsible for his actions. I hope he takes that to heart and uses what he learned for next year. :(

Is this high school?

I feel for you. I have some 7th graders who have been told repeatdly that they are in danger of retention, and they are in danger of being suspended due to disciplinary problems.

Thier atitude... " I'll ace 7th grade the second time around, I know all the answers!" I don't understand that logic...

And the other one "Go, ahead, suspend me.. there are only a few days left anyway"
