The Happiest Day of Our Lives...

I have to mention that Misty was visably relieved when she reached my parents’ room as the room I was in was just madness. I also forgot to say that as I slipped around the corridor in my dressing gown with my beautiful tiara on, feeling a bit like a fairy, who should we meet in the corridor, but Jeffrey Stoner! I introduced myself in my pyjamas and we laughed. He came into the room with my sister, parents, Misty and Nelio!

I asked Jeffrey if there was anything we could do to make his job any easier and he said to ignore him completely! I felt really awkward but I did as he said ~ well, I tried to anyway. I dread to think what I look like on his video but we’ll find out at the end of November. I love Jeffrey’s work. He is truly gifted. Plus, he’s very sweet too ~ he has a lovely manner (and he loves the Manic Street Preachers which makes him even better.)!

Misty got to work straight away and Andy back in my other room started clearing everything out. She was super.

Misty photographed the invites, rings and my sand-ceremony bottle. My dad had this made for me at the glass blower’s workshop near to their house. I loved it. We had to photograph Melissa and Robert’s invite as we had still to give it to them and we thought a photo of it in our wedding album would be a lovely gift for them also. (Close your eyes, Melissa!)

Then she made sure she captured every little detail…

My Earrings ~ these took me so long to find. I knew I needed them to match my tiara AND my Cinderella necklace. In the end I found these 4 days before we were due to leave, and they were small and perfect.

And of course our Disney Fairytale Wedding Watches. Gavin was so pleased about these, although I have yet to let him wear his! I don’t know what I’m saving them for though….!

My Kirstie Kelly Cinderella Necklace...

I bought this at a wedding show even before I heard about them. I saw a sign saying "Disney Jewellery" and me, mum and Beka headed right over. When they found out I was getting married at Disney, they insisted I try every piece on. It was fantastic. I settled immediately on the Cinderella necklace. I already had another piece of jewellery as you'll see, but this one was big and bold and I fell in love instantly.

The chain in the photo is different from the chain it comes with. I can post pictures of those in my PJ later. It also has a tiny blue jewel in the reverse of the pendant for Cinderella, and also this could count as your something blue. I love this necklace, I can still wear it now. In fact, I wore it to school yesterday. It's beautiful.

My Wedding Perfume...

Originally I went and bought a Vivienne Westwood Limited Edition perfume from Selfridges as I wanted something special but then I realised that not only might I smell unfamiliar to Gavin but also the perfume I generally wear, Coco Chanel, was so special to me that I needed to wear it and feel like myself.

I wear Coco by Chanel because when I was 16, my granny said she would buy me my first perfume and this was the only one that didn't make me sneeze. I love it, and it reminds me of my granny.

So, I got to buy a new bottle, guilt-free!!!

You look so so beautiful and all the photos are fantastic!!!

this is like the best lunch break ever!! :):)

Can't wait for more pictures!!!!

Ha ha, thank you! I'm trying to update between cleaning and tidying so Gavin won't think this is all I've done today! ;)

:goodvibes But telling us all about your wedding day is far more fun than cleaning LOL....

I'm really enjoying your TR, it really makes me want a WDW wedding LOL...your flowers are stunning lovely bold colours...cant wait to hear more!

You look like a real Disney Princess and the wedding dress could be from a Disney-Princess movie.

I can't wait to see and read more.

Thank you! Now I managed to do half the washing up and clean the grill. I still have shopping to do and some hoovering around some huskies. I'll try and get some more on there for you!

And....having a WDW wedding is so much fun ~ do it! :) :) :)

Oh, thank you so much! I love my dress. I wore it many more times (as you'll see) and I'd wear it every day if I could (except not for washing up ~ that would get icky)...

Thank you all for reading! :) :)

I forgot to mention that I actually did feel like a Disney Princess, I really did. I think that's what Disney gives you ~ an extra bit of magic and the fact that you can unashamedly say "No matter how old I am, I still want to be Cinderella, just for one day."

My Photos, My Heart...

I also attached little photos of my boys, Casanova and Excalibur, to my bouquet with ivory ribbons, and also a picture of my late Granny and Grandad with my mum when she was little. I had no photo of my dad on there because I didn’t need one, he was right by my side. With these little photos, I managed to walk down the aisle with my dad, and with my mum, granny and granddad in my “heart”.

Our Rings...

The ring I chose was made of topaz and diamonds and it doesn’t look like a regular wedding ring as I wanted a very pretty princess ring. I used to play a game called “Rings on Your Fingers” when I was a little girl and it was a bunch of yellow plastic rings which you picked up and tried to match to the pictures on your card. On the yellow plastic were drawings of rings with different coloured stones and they were just beautiful to me as a child, even though they were of course paper and plastic. I used to run around with as many on as I could fit!

Anyway, I thought it would make sense for me to have the ring I really wanted for my wedding. After all, it was the ring that Gavin would put all of his promises into and the ring that would bind us together (like Gollum from Lord of the Rings…). Later on we decided that as he wanted to buy me something from Tiffany’s (I love Audrey Hepburn and the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s I loved as a child) we would buy a gold band to wear (as opposed to something silver, which I will get next time ;) ). I’ll write about that later.

Oh good.. looking forward to it.... I'm dying to see your wedding shoes from in the picture in your sig LOL

My Cinderella Bracelet...

I got my Swarovski Cinderella bracelet off eBay after falling in love with it on the DISBoards. It was new in the box and I love it now, but when it first arrived and I tried it on with my dress, I felt like a rapper as it was so large and sparkly! At my last dress fitting I managed to figure out how to remove a link in it and I tried it again and it was perfect. So I wore it and fell in love with it.

The Sand Ceremony Bottle...

Here is my sand ceremony bottle. It’s on my bookcase now, sparkling away at me. My dad had this blown for me at a local craft centre.

My Garter...

My garter I love. I could not find one I really loved and then I found a burlesque performer in New York who makes them, and she made me a set of little accessories too...:lovestruc :cloud9: :lovestruc I sent her some photos of a particular set of Dita Von Teese's and she sent me the most beautiful items.
