My school changed the dress code this year and it's horrific. Basically, you can't wear any shorts, some short sleeves, yoga pants, or leggings. I don't wear yoga pants but gosh that's a little harsh if you ask me.

That's nothing lol, my school is pretty bad. No pants without a zipper or pockets (aka no yoga pants or leggings), shorts/skirts/dresses can't be any more than three inches above the knee (I had to change because my dress was 3.5 inches above my knee... The hard life of having long legs), no tank tops or spaghetti straps, no bandanas, no "distracting" colorful hair, no clothing or accessories with those spike studs on them, and of course no hats

This was how my high school was minus the yoga pants/leggings rule but we couldn't have holes/fraying in our jeans. However none of the rules were enforced.

i quite liked having a uniform at school
but next year we have a dress code for the sixth form
only black denim if you want to wear jeans, any colour blouse or shirt, we were told we can wear t shirts as long as they don't have huge logos and aren't old and gross lol
black, navy or grey dresses or skirts that are less than 3" above the knee
black brown or grey flat shoes
black opaque tights in the winter or natural ones
black, navy or grey pullover (not a hoodie), cardigan or jacket with no logos
dresses or tops must cover your shoulders
hair a natural shade
no piercings except one small stud in each ear
