The age things with the Beast and Chip always kinda annoy me. If Lumiere didn't say that line in Be Our Guest, it'd fit. Though if he was like 20 when he was turned into a beast, he'd be way older than Belle when he turned human again.. But he looks the same age, so maybe his years didn't count as the Beast? Idk it's more confusing than a time travel film.

When I watched it a few days ago I was thinking they could've changed it to "for years we've been rusting" or something..
