It's like, we do really simple problems in class and on homework, so that the answer always comes out really clean and simple like X=5 and Y=2. But then on the test there's fractions and square roots and fractions on fractions and long word problems and graphing huge numbers, and I'm like "where did this come from?" and my teacher even says we didn't do problems like that in class, but she expects us to be able to put the pieces together and solve the problem.
