The Guilty Pleasure Rides Poll

Fun poll, and I know people will have their suggestions but lets just all agree now that Tiki Room is the weirdest attraction ever.

It was too much of a classic I thought. Because of the connection to Walt being so strong with it.

It's just a phrase, I thought best suited it.
Rides or Attractions you know others don't like, and you know they aren't very good, but you enjoy it.

It's hard to think of a term for attractions that you know are quite bad and you shouldn't really like but you do.
Things like the National Treasure movie, I know its bad but it's a guilty pleasure of mine.
This is the attraction version of it, so it's pretty much the perfect term for it, for me anyway.

I would be worried for anyone who thought Stitch's Great Escape was an actual good attraction, but I enjoy it. I voted for it!
My nostalgia for it makes me overlook it's negatives.

We all know Disney World is far from perfect and somethings are only good because of nostalgia,
but it's what I enjoy and keeps me coming back to create more memories to tie to it all.

Again it's just a phrase, not literal.

No guilt here. I love the Country Bear Jamboree (and feel it is a classic) Philharmagic, and would have picked the Gran Fiesta Tour as well if I could have chosen 3.

To be completely honest, I also love the Swiss Family Treehouse, especially if you do it toward dusk. The views of the park from up there are amazing!

Hey come on yous guys... where is the love for Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse??

I'm sorry its not full of flashy screens and hair pin turns but it is a wonderful attraction!! It is truly immersive and offers wonderful views of MK!!

It is an absolute favorite of mine.

It was one of my votes. I would live there, if they'd allow it... there or the little shack at beginning of Jungle Cruise.

I love quite a few of those but I voted Swiss Family Treehouse because the view from up top at night is absolutely one of the best around!

Heck! The only things I can't say that I like are Stitch's Great Escape and Frozen Sing-a-long because I have not done them. I actually like all the rest of them. Go ahead, put me in the Weird category.

Out of this list I picked Grand Fiesta Tour, but my guilty pleasure is the Tiki Room. Everybody I know hates it, but it's my favorite original attraction and I make a point of going at least once per visit.

I haven't been on this, I have seen people on The Dis say it looks old now so I added it based on that.

2-Silver) Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros

Now this is a ride that I understand the Guilty Pleasure aspect more.
As a ride it's clear to all, surely, that it isn't very good. I certainly wouldn't wait for than 15 minutes for it.
I also wouldn't be surprised if it was changed in the near future.
But I always try to go on it when I get the chance, and would definitely mention an new rider friends to lower their expectations, but it is fun.
It certainly deserves to be one of the winners.

3-) Frozen Sing-A-Long

I may be wrong but I think a lot of British people prefer a bit alcohol first before wilfully joining a sing-a-long.
That is not an option on this attraction.
The songs in Frozen are catchy, but if my friends down the pub caught me on this one I'd be in for it.
I certainly don't admit to them that I sometimes play the frozen soundtrack in the house, but it's brilliant!

Of the attractions listed, I'd say Country Bear Jamboree is my favorite. A lot of that is nostalgia, though. Swiss Family Treehouse is also a lot of fun. I have mixed feelings about the Gran Fiesta Tour. My daughters love it, and the opening ride through the water is still awesome. The animatronics at the end are a huge upgrade. Even so, the prevalence of screens makes it a step backwards from what I loved about El Rio Del Tiempo.
