Ugh! WHY did I watch this movie? I can't stand these types of movies but DH started it so I decided to be brave. I had a little bowl with some chocolate chips in it and at the very first "jump" scene I tossed chocolate chips all over the bed. :rotfl:

Okay, I compose myself and gather up my chocolate chips and then can't take it anymore. Spent the rest of the movie hiding under the blankets peeking out during the non scary parts and peeking out with 1/4 of an eye during the scary parts (Tip: it doesn't help to see a scary part with only 1/4 of one eye...it is still just as scary). :scared: At least it was pretty obvious when it was about to get scary. That face though. Then when she was crawling down the stairs all jittery. :crazy2: What was the moral of the story? When grandma stares up into the ceiling like something is evil in the house you are considering buying...don't buy it. Run like hell. Especially, when in Japan.

Last night we were picking a movie to watch and DH hinted towards Hide & Seek. I said "Uhuh buddy you owe me a chick flick" so we saw Hitch which I liked and thought was cute. :teeth:

Your funny. :sunny:

My husband likes to make that noise that woman made just to spook me. And why do people go upstairs? Why don't they just get the funk out?

I actually enjoyed The Grudge. I had the absolute pleasure of escorting fifteen, 13-year olds to this movie. Then I watched it at home a few months later. It was *much* scarier on the big screen.

I also make that "noise" that the thing made. I do it to my kids and it freaks them out.

Yeah, I got a mean streak in me. :teeth:

Oh, Hide and Seek wasn't as bad. That was more of a psychological thriller versus a heebie-jeebie thriller.

Ahhh that sound! That chick (before freaky death) looks exactly like a customer of mine. I'm gonna freak out next time she comes in. LOL

I made the sound yesterday. DH was like "Hey, that was pretty good". Heebed myself out though.

I didn’t like that move, I thought it was more silly then scary.

I don't think the concept was terribly scary and it was typical ghost movie stuff. However, I can't stand things that jump out at you. My old heart can't take it. :faint:

I watched it last week. I want that hour and a half of my life back! What a disappointment!

Me too, and I didn't even watch the first 20 min of it! :sad2:

We liked the Grudge. It was suspenseful enough to keep us scared. We also liked Hide And Seek. Every Friday night here at home is scary movie night so we have been through just about everyone out there so far. The scarier the better!

I took DD and some of her friends to see it in the theater. I thought it was okay, but her friends were freaking out. I then told them they needed to see some real horror films, so she had a sleepover and showed them some of the "classics" from my film collection.

I told them horror films don't have to be bloody to be good and scary. ;)

If you bought the movie, watch the making of it, it'll make you feel better. It helped me because like you, it scared the bejesus out of me.

The "scary" girl is actually really pretty in person and has a beautiful smile.
