The Gross Things you see.....

One guy says "It's fine, at least he didn't pee in the pool, like everyone else does!":rotfl: True that!

I hope you realized that it really wasn't fine though! I don't understand kids that think it's okay to pee wherever. I feel like the parents have let them do it at some point so they think it's okay. Bathrooms are for relieving yourself. It's not cute or funny any other time if you're old enough to know better.

OK so you've been waiting in line for about 75 minutes for your favorite attraction (assume fastpasses ran out) and you have another 15 minutes or so left before your're in. It's 92 degrees out, sun is beating, and you just want to get on the ride. Your 4 year old son is all of a sudden telling you he has to go in the worst way (#1 of course). There happens to be bushes off to the side and you know you won't lose your place in line if the bushes double as a toilet for a few seconds. What do you do? Be honest now..

A couple of years ago we were at TL and the family next to us let their son (who was about 9 years old:confused3) poo in the sand:scared1: - they then proceeded to cover it up with the sand!! I was just relieved that they weren't English:rotfl: They packed their stuff up and left (after i had given them a really dirty look!!) I then had to go and find a CM and explain to him what they had done:confused:

LOL, OMG! Someone needs to tell these people that their son is NOT a cat! :lmao:

Wow. I must be the type of person to block these kinds of things out from my WDW vacations. I have never seen random peeing.

Remember people... germs are all around. There are more germs in our bodies than cells. Most help our bodies function correctly.

Before you wipe down EVERYTHING your child touches with disinfectant, please realize that allergies will develop when you are not exposed to certain irritants as a youngster. Your body's "histamines" attack foreign objects when the body perceives them to be "foreign objects"... this can include dust, pollens, etc. If your child is not exposed to these types of things as a youngster, then their bodies (when exposed to them at a later date) will start attacking them... causing an allergic reaction. Same goes with various illnesses. The child may not get sick by being around someone sick, but their body will begin to build immunity to these types of illnesses instead. This is a GOOD thing.

Yes, get out of the pool when someone pukes.
Yes, don't let your kid lick the hand rail at TSMM.
Yes, don't eat at the table where the person changed their child's diaper.
Yes, wash your hands after being in the bathroom. I even make my kids wash their hands if they are WAITING for a person in a restroom.

But stop using those darn disinfectant wipes EVERYWHERE you go. It might be doing waaaay more harm than good. And a LIFELONG harm, nonetheless. Your intention of protecting your children may be misdirected. I get so irritated with the barage of cleaning product commercials directed to SAHMs (I am NOT a SAHM myself). They are making you so fearful of microbes... a fear of the unknown. Remember, human beings have survived for years without these products.

My kids are NEVER sick. NEVER NEVER NEVER. I let my kids play in dirt and touch public playthings. I don't wipe down shopping carts. I don't use hand sanitizer.

You find the nearest CM, explain the situation to them and most times they will do their best to accommodate you and allow you to return after a quick run to the bathroom.

I am certain most people, including myself, are outraged about the people who just do it whereever because they can. Not necessarily in line but while touring the park.

Anyway, it's the parents' responsibility to teach manners and non-grossness and by letting a child pee in the bushes is only letting them think it's ok. If you are waiting 75 minutes, you're most likely toward the end if not, you're crazy for waiting in such a long line. At that 75 minute mark, you should be near a CM, has anyone ever tried to simply ask to use the restroom and be able to come back through the FP line.

Having children should never give anyone the excuse to be able to be lazy.

A couple weeks ago on EE, I rode single rider. The gentleman sitting next to me didn't seem to be enjoying the ride. During the backwards portion, his head was lowered in his hands. I wasn't sure if he had passed out, or worse, passed away. Neither was the case, but as we were stopped at the end of the ride just before you move into the unload area, he lost his lunch. Thankfully, he turned his head to the outside of the car. All I could hear was him vomitting and the people behind us going....... ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! lol

People who dress inappropriately too. People wearing clothes that are way too tight for their body shape..... just not a good idea.

Honestly? There is NO WAY I would tell my kid it was ok to pee in the bushes! Hopefully we would be able to talk to a CM and explain the problem, but if not, we would leave the line.

And really, how many lines have bushes 15 minutes from the loading point? I can't think of a one.

Though if a line was 90 minutes long, there is also no way I would be in it to begin with.

I some people think it is ok to let their kids pee in the bushes in their back yard. But Disney World ain't your back yard! There are rest rooms all over the place. But if an emergency happens while you are in line, then deal with it in a proper manner. Don't assume the line is your back yard.

Years ago we were staying at the All-Star Sports resort, my son and I were swimming an a HUGE loogie (sp?) floated by ... eeeeewwwww!!!! We confirmed with several around us and immediately got out of the pool...

We had a similiar experience at All-Star Movies many years ago. We kept trying to take DD3 (at the time) in the kiddie pool. It seemed as though about every half hour they were closing the pool because someone had gone to the bathroom (the pool was VERY busy this day). After about 3 times of them closing the pool we finally just gave up.

Ah...leave the line? Maybe explain it to a cm, but I would never, EVER allow him to pee outside at WDW (or any other place!). That is absolutely disgusting. Never acceptable.

In WDW the wait times are posted so you knew this would be a long wait. There are many washrooms in WDW and most of them seem to be near the entrance/exit of these major attractions. I would have taken my 4 year old to the washroom first, because a 4 year old simply cannot hold their urine like an adult. You do not state if another responsible person was with you, who could perhaps hold your place in line. While exiting, most people are quite understanding, especially if you are escorting a 4 year old out and will let you re-enter.

Okay, this is gross but was really, really funny to us at the time (keep in mind I have 2 teen-age boys so they love stuff like this) and it is something we still talk about - even though it happened three years ago!

We are in line one evening for RnR - in August so it is really hot and there are lots of sweaty people. There is a group of guys in line and I look over and one guy has his hand down the front of his shorts (re-adjusting I assume). So I tell my hubby and 2 boys to look (cause it was really funny). As we are all looking at him we get an added bonus. He removes his hand and sniffs his fingers! I'm sorry, but it was soooooo funny and gross!

OMG, I would die laughing!:rotfl2:I guess people think they're in their own little world and can't be seen...how else would one explain random picking and adjusting? I'll admit it, though, I will retrieve a wedgie (discreetly!)! TMI?!?

That is the saddest video. People are cruel.

I would of said something to this guy. He seems like he doesn't know it was on there. People are a holes. How can they keep video taping this, like its funny.:furious:

Disney needs to pass out "Park/Resort Etiquette Guides" when people enter a park or resort. Then again they would probably end up on the ground. :sad2:

You just expressed my one and only reason for never going in single rider. I KNOW my family and I know their puke threshold.

you get out of line and go to the restroom.

that's the only option in this situation. I can't even believe that people consider peeing in the bushes, in public, to be an option. :confused3

This wasn't at Disney, but Disney related. When I did my college program at WDW, the girl I shared a room with was a little on the strange side. She asked to borrow money the first day I met her, and I woke up in the middle of the night, and she was standing over my bed starring at me! She was just dirty! She had a bloody nose all the time, which I understand, but what I didn't understand the need for her to leave her bloody tissues on the floor of our room. Once, I got home and their was a bloody tissue on my bed! Oh, I gave her a piece of my mind after that one! The next week she left early, and I wasn't too sad about it.

This is another gross thing, but wasn't at Disney. When I was in high school, my mom, and I were at the grocery store, and stopped at the deli counter to get lunch meat. As the lady was getting our lunch meat ready, she took of her glove, sneezed in her hand, and then picked up our lunch meat with her bare snot hand! I started gagging! My mom took the meat, and we took it directly to a manager! Never again did we get lunch meat at that store!

I just wanted to add.. People do not brush your hair at the table!! That is gross! Hair flies everywhere!! I don't know how many times I have been at Disney when someone whips out their brush.
