Can anyone tell me what is available in the Condiments area of the food court??

(ie - mayo, mustard, ketchup packs - butter - honey - jelly packets???)

My main concerns are if jelly, butter, cream cheese & Splenda are availalbe
and if there's anything "not so common" available, as well.

I also heard there are toasters you can use - is this true??
What about microwaves??

Thanks so much!!! :flower3:

:cool1: I've made it to page 210. I'm going to finish this thread today - I hope it won't take me to midnight. I've got to clean house too. :laundy:

I haven't seen this question (at least I don't think I have) Can I request an extra pillow? I've got two trips booked for Pop. For my second trip, I'm going to take the twin Aerobed (3 ladies in a room) I know to bring my own sheets but I don't want to pack a pillow.

Thoughts, opinions, discuss.....

We just got back from our stay at Pop, there were two pillows on each bed and an extra pillow on the shelf in the sink area. Not sure if that is how it is in all rooms or not.
The room isn't super small but there isnt a lot of extra space, we had a hard time find a good spot for our stroller in the room. But I am not sure where you would put the aerobed, it may fit in between the two beds, but I wouldn't count on it.

Thanks for the info. Knowing that there's one extra pillow in the closet is good to know. I've read here and other places that to make the Aerobed work, move the table to the window and the chairs to just outside the bathroom. Then there's a perfect spot where the table was for a bed. I plan on standing it up out of the way in the am.

:thanks:

Hi All- another Pop newbie here. I haven't made it through the whole thread yet- it seems to grow faster than I can read it.

My DH wants to know if we can buy a 6-pack of beer at Pop for us to keep in the room for evenings. And if so, how much do they run? Or do you have to buy them individually at ?$3/can? We are flying in and taking DME so no car to get groceries. I really don't want to pack beer in my suitcase.

And my question, is the AC the central-type that is controlled by a thermostat and is quiet, or a wall-type unit that "hums"? Reason I ask, I cannot sleep these days without some sort of white noise in the background, especially in hotel rooms. If I can get away without packing a fan, it will save some suitcase space.

Thanks in advance. 2 more weeks...cannot wait!

I'm not sure it will fit either. I know for an airmatress it really is a squeeze to get it in ,and if an aerobed is what I think it is, it is bigger and I really don't think it would go in well. And you will defiantley have to deflate it every day as well. Basically if you can get it ot fit, you won't be able to do any walking around in the room.

Not sure about the beer question... I know I saw people with 6 packs and can only assume they bought them at POP since they weren't in a bag, but I don't know price or anything. Sorry.

The AC unit is a central-type with a thermostat, not an under the window unit. Sorry - no "hum". There is a clock radio - could you turn it on and set the station to static? (not sure if that would work as white noise!)

There is an extra pillow in the room as stated. You can always request extras if you need more. My dh has to sleep with several pillows under his legs because of back problems and POP has always brought us extras.

My dh got a six-pack of bottled beer, and it was around $10. Not sure what other options there are in beer.

The AC is not loud enough, and the bathroom fan is on a timer, so that doesn't help much. That being said, I was so tired every night that I managed to sleep pretty well.

Happy planning! :wizard:

We turned the fan on one night too and then we were asleep before it went off.
My DD2YO has to have music to go to sleep, so we broguth our portable DVD palyer and it can play CD's and we jsut played a lullabye CD as well each night, very softly.

Is the soap and shampoo that are in the rooms enough for 2 women and 2 children to use per day or should we bring our own? 38 days to go

Thanks! Just the info we need- I'll be packing the fan. I know I will probably be quite tired too, but there are some days after chasing 2 little ones around all day I think I could pass out and sleep for a week, and there I'll be, wide awake. Insomnia stinks!

DH thanks you too for the info.

Thanks to jenseib and geetey too!

Thanks. I have a bad back and need a second pillow also.

Can anyone tell me if there's butter in the condiment section in the food court? If I buy bread for toast do I also have to buy butter???:confused3 :confused3 I've been before but for the life of me I don't remember

Housekeeping will bring extra - I always throw a sample size in my suitcase just in case, but leave housekeeping a note - they actually left us extra each day without asking!

There should be enough for at least one day, but they brought us a new bottle each day, so I took home alot of it and DH used it. But he didn't like it much. I only use professional products (I'm a former hairdresser), so I never tried it.
