We were there in May and they did have apple juice. I was filling our mugs on our way out and without thinking stuck the baby's sippy cup up there! Woops!!!

I bet that happens all the time!

Yes they did have Apple Juice as this is all I drank whilst there in May think brand was minute maid hope this helps.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited! We leave in 7 days for WDW to celebrate my 40th birthday!!! We have a split stay because they didn't have preferred rooms for the last half of our stay. Is there any chance of getting a comp. upgrade so we won't have to switch rooms? We are starting off in preferred for 6 days and then switching to nonpreferred for the rest of the trip. Thanks!!!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that they allow floats. But when we went 3 weeks ago, we took 5 noodles and not one person or life guard said a word to us.

We were in the bldg. labeled 1101-1472, in rooms 1154, 1155, 1156, & 1157.

They were only a couple of rooms away from the preferred, and therefore only a couple of rooms further than the preferred from Classic Hall.
That was parking lot side.
The opposite side, next to Lady, would be as close also.
We really liked this location, as far as being close.

If you look at the maps for the other bldgs (60s, 70s, and the very ends of the 80s/90s) you can find others similar to this, as in, right next to the preferred.

Yes, it's true - you can choose from frozen Coke and blue raspberry.

Yay! I just scheduled a quick "last minute" trip for Labor Day week! Pop obviously made a favorable impression in May, because I am more than happy to be returning!

Has anyone ever stayed in an Epcot view room on an upper floor of Building 3 or 4? I requested a room there. Last time we wanted a king bed, so we stayed ground floor lakeside in Building 3, but not on the side where you can see Spaceship Earth.

Yay! I can't wait!

My family and I will be in connecting rooms as we're too large for just one . I'm wondering if anyone knows where the connecting rooms tend to be in the different buildings. Just trying to get an idea of what location to expect and which to possibly request.

Well....since all the rooms have exterior hallways I'm not sure that ground-floor rooms are any less safe than other floors.

I was afraid that a first floor room would be really loud and I would feel unsafe (traveling alone with a child). When I was actually in the room though I didn't worry and found the ground floor room to be very convenient. I requested it again on my next trip (and got it) and will be requesting it in August also.

We stayed in a ground floor room at Pop in May, and it felt completely safe. (It was on the lakeside of Building 3, facing a courtyard toward the lake.) I found it to be quiet and conveniently close to the main hall (without paying for a preferred room).

I noticed at the beginning of this thread that the poster noted ice machines one every floor behind the elevators. Has anyone seen these? Are they in every building? I thought I looked last year but I never saw them. Another poster told me that Disney did not provide ice machines at the resort hotels. But I find that hard to believe!

It would help me tremendously if these machines do exist at POP. If anyone knows for sure please let me know. Thanks!

I have seen the elusive ice machines in the 50s building and the 70s building. They exist!

Re: Ground Floor -- I'm with my dh, so I don't worry about that, but I feel a bit safer at Disney since you have to check in with security when you drive in.
That said, always use good sense, keep your door locked, don't open it to strangers, don't walk alone at night if possible, etc, etc.

We liked the ground floor for convenience of just rolling out the stroller and walking, but we'd take any floor. It was really quiet in that location.
