I was wondering if any kind soul out there departing for the World within the next three or four weeks would be willing to take pictures of the menu boards at Everything Pop??

I'm going to be there for the first week of January and would love to get an idea of the food offerings there. The menu from AllEars.net is dated April 2009 and I'm not sure if that's because nothing has changed or because no one has updated it.

Anyone...anyone at all...willing to take pics of the menu boards and post them here between now and January 1st?? :flower3:

TIA

I don't have pics, but we were just there in late September and have been there many years in a row and nothing seems to have changed from our visits in the past to this most recent one. I absolutely love their chicken parmigiana- delish!!

I agree with the pp - we have been there the last 3 trips and the menu seems to be the same as the one currently on Allearsnet.com. :)

Okay, thanks Jessma9902 and chocovrdmicears!

I just wondered since AllEars doesn't list the Bounty Platter for breakfast but I've been told by other DISers that it IS available there. I just wondered if there were any other little errors.

Thanks again!!

This is probably a stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer. How far out should I fax in my building requests?

I see someone answered with the fax advice. I'm not a faxer...just wanted to add that you can call the reservation center to add the room requests to your reservation, not sure if you know that or not.

I think some people do both. I only call, and I've had good success at Pop.

I didn't have a problem with that... but I had brought a lime green mickey head flag that I made, and I hung it on a spring tension rod in the window. It provided all the added privacy that we needed. It was a great idea. I also put my pins on it since my lanyard longago overflowed.

Where did you find the Mickey flag? I was even thinking about making one myself if worse comes to worse.

I will try to remember to take pics of it... even if it hasn't changed

Whew! Finally finished reading allllll 70 pages!! I am planning our first family trip to Disney. Planning for Sept. 2011 (for free dining!) and staying at the Pop. LOVE all the great tips and advice on this thread.

Anyone ship water lately? Sams vs. Costco?

Emily

I ordered water from Costco on Wednesday and it shipped yesterday. UPS tracking has it scheduled to be delivered on 11/22/10. We get there next Sunday, I hope it's there too. :thumbsup2

Can Disney ship items home from POP? I really want to buy some new coffee mugs, but am terrified to put them in my luggage. THX! :goodvibes :santa:

We did it about 5 times last Sept. - the only ones they don't ship are non -Disney store stuff. For example, they wouldn't ship tea cups we bought at Japan. So, if you buy something at Epcot from a country, ship it from there!:surfweb:

:dance3:Just have to share, got an email from my DU agent....got some discount for our trip and saving almost $300 on our PC nights!!!!

Happy Dance:dance3:

My family and I will be staying at POP 11/27-12/2 and have preferred rooms. I know it's already posted in this thread so I apologize in advance but is there a "preferred" area or block of rooms that's more beneficial than the others?
I know some have mentioned the 4th floor, facing the lake, etc and a lot of it depends on who you're traveling with.
I also saw some posts about faxing in your recommendations? I apologize for all the questions but if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!

I know they have creamchees in the coolers in the back section BUT I think you have to buy a bagel to get them !! Hope someone else can fill in my blanks !!

We were at POP last March 2010. I bought cream cheese and pb tubs at the food court for our bagels that I brought from home... quickie trip - no dining plan... They cost about 50 or 75 cents each.

We stayed at POP 11/13-11/19:lovestruc Fantastic time! We stayed in 90's bldg 8 on the back side. Some might say it is far from food court but it was quiet facing some trees. :wizard: All POP CMs were very friendly. All had smiles & hellos for us:thumbsup2

4-6 days is recommended. We faxed ours 5 days ahead and got requests... that was 2 years ago. Good luck!

Thank you both for your help and advice!

I'll be glad to take some pics for you too. I usually take food court pics anyways for our scrapbooks.

Thanks tebi73 and the other posted who volunteered to take pics for me of the food court signs! :worship:

I'm also particularly interested in knowing what breakfast items are available for a snack credit!

I've read through the snack credit list that jjohnson maintains but there's been some question as to whether or not the cereal comes with the milk for one credit or whether it's one credit EACH!

Anyone know the definitive answer to this one??

TIA

Each time we have stayed ( June 09, Dec 09 and Aug 10) we were able to use 1 snack credit for the individual cereal + small Mickey Milk. :)
We also used 1 snack credit to get bagel + cream cheese, muffin, fresh fruit cup or any of the pastries (love the chocolate croissants).
