What does Disney supply in the way of toiletries to rooms in the value resorts?

Do you only get a starter pack at the beginning of your stay or are they restocked/replensihed every day?

They provide a bar of soap. A small bottle of sampoo/condition all in one. A bar of facial soap ( i think)

It depends on the mousekeeper if this gets restocked. If not they sell the same shampoo in a full size bottle in the resort gift shop.

How busy has POP been now that free DDP has started? Are the food court, pool, buses packed? What are the parks like now? Would love some updates from our POP friends who are there now!! Thanks!

I need to attend a conference call while staying at Pop in September. It is an 800 number. Does anyone know if Pop charge for these calls?

Does the POP phone have mute on it? or speakerphone?

When I was there last year it was $.75 for each 800 call. And yes there is a speakerphone not sure about the mute button however. I would think they do.

Just wanted to add that the shampoo is a shampoo/conditioner combo, one bathroom soap and one sink soap. Housekeepers should restock everyday, but if not, call housekeeping and ask them to bring some up for you (or if a housekeeping cart is nearby, ask that housekeeper). No need to purchase the same from the gift shop unless you really want to -the stuff is not that great, just okay.

The Deluxe resorts have a the better products by the same company - deluxe resorts get shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and soaps.

We are getting very excited for our 1st POP trip. We are there from Sept 26-Oct 3....and attending MNSSHP on the 29th. Maybe we will meet some fellow DISers when we are there!!

Mousekeeping will restock/replenish any used toiletries for sure. They will also restock you plastic cups if you use them. I have had excellent mousekeeping every visit. If you run short on anything give them a buzz and they will bring it to you right away. I did this on our last trip (hubby and son can use any brand of these items so I save space in my luggage) and the mousekeeper made sure to bring additional bottles for the rest of my stay.

Shampoo
Conditioner

Bath Soap

I was so excited I had to tell you guys!! I was booked at Pop for Feb. I decided to call Disney yesterday to inquire about changing my booking to October to try and take advantage of free dining. There was availability and I went ahead requested Pop w/ the quick service free dining. The cm told me we had a code attached to our name....(first code ever) They upgraded us to free dining with table service. I also got to move our trip up 4 and a half months also!

whew- I cant wait== been waiting since Dec 2005 with my planning

Can anyone tell if if you are able to decorate your door or window here at POP. We did this well on our cruise and had lots of fun with it. Dose anyone have pics of what they did or can you point me in the right direction?

This is a great thread with lots of info. I have one question. Our up coming trip is at CBR. But my step son may be coming with us. That would add a 3rd adult. So we were thinkiing of getting 2 rooms at POP. DO they have connecting rooms?

Yes, POP does have connecting rooms, but as they will tell you they're a request and are not guaranteed. However, we have never had a problem getting connecting rooms on our past visits to POP.
