The area facing the twister games, the area that is closes to the parking lot, or the area facing the 90's building? We really want to request the area closes to the parking lot. We always stay there, but want a refurbed room. We requested a diff. area this time, just to have refurbed room, so if they are refurbing ground floor in building 10 closes to the parking lot, that would be awsome!! I hope, I hope, I hope!!!!!

We booked bounce back at POP last year before we left. The promo has expired. But will they let me add a night ? We are currently there from 9/25 to 10/3. But dh just told me he could leave Friday now.
So we would just have to add that Friday night. I have never had to change dates after the promo has expired. I have upgraded from value to mod before and they were more than happy to do that.

I've heard of guests being able to add on a day with bounceback much later, but seems to depend on the CM you get when you call. Some just immediately say no, while others will do the research. If they say no, I would ask to speak with guest services and ask them if they could possible add the day for you - either the CM will ask for you or connect you with guest services for reservations. It is more money for Disney, but they might say it's expired, so all you can do is call and try.

Good luck - would be awesome to arrive a day early!

You can put some ice in your mug and fill it with coffee. I can't recommend the Nescafe though.

We had to resort to that last summer at BWI. We actually mixed the Nescafe with a little bit of hot chocolate and it was bearable. It just melts the ice SO fast that you end up with really watery, icky, grossness. That's one department WDW is sorely lacking in.

I've change several things on my Bounceback reservation since I made it last September, and so far, I haven't have any problems, although one thing I haven't tried to do is add nights.

I've change my dates twice, the number of people on the reservation, and my MYW ticket options.

I didn't ask anyone if they were doing the refurb but I assume that they were because they were working on the same floor (bottom) for several days. There were several workers and they were using generators. Here is my very poor excuse for a map.

It is all supposed to be done in the summer according to some sources, so if yo uare going in Sept, the whole place should be refurbed by then.

Just returned from 5 nights at POP. Stayed in the 50's section in the building behind the gigantic Tramp statue. The room was not yet refurbed, but in pretty decent shape.

I definitely recommend the Long Island Iced Tea from Petal's.

Welcome back! We've stayed in the Tramp bldg lake side a few times - love the view of the fireworks from there...even saw them from our room.

i just changed the two ressies i booked last sept.. added days to each no problem, it's based on availablity so call pronto!

Can you get iced coffee in the refillable mug?

The reason I was asking is to see if I needed to order my caffeine fix from Amazon and have it delivered to the hotel. I was not impressed with the Illy or Monster energy drinks they had in the refrigerated section back in December. I just like to have the bottled drinks that I can grab on the way out and just recycle the bottle instead of carrying around my refillable mug all day.

Just got back, stayed in refurbed room in the 80's building 9. I believe the mattresses were new but they are not pillow top. For a hotel mattress we all thought they were comfortable, definitely not rock hard.

This is good to know, last time I stayed at one of the All-Stars I thought the mattress was so uncomfortable. Considering Pop for next trip and the one thing making me not thrilled about it is the hard mattress. Have you stayed at an All-Star? How would you say the new Pop mattresses compare to the ones at AS?

I had a great time. It had been years since I stayed at POP, but enjoyed it. My room was on the first floor and faced the courtyard, so no fireworks view.

Call the bounceback number and they can handle your change, no problem. Just changed my dates last week when I got our airfare.

Thanks we have had our airfare for a bit. But we are able to change with no fee since they changed the flight. So we figure we might as well stay another night.

We are actually choosing POP over a POFQ or POR because after exhaustive comparisons, we feel that POP is more convenient (better layout in regards to proximity to food court/bus stops), has better bus service, better food court, and is overall more fun. And of course the the refuburbished rooms. And we're saving lots of money, can't beat that!

Regarding the iced coffee question....I don't see why not...fill the mug with ice and add the coffee which is always out there by the pop!! I looooves iced coffee too!!! I get hot tea at night in mine, so I don't see why coffee would be any diff!!! Have fun!

The questions and comments on coffee made me remember my value resort mocha - half bad nescafe coffee, half hot chocolate, a bit of cream for good measure. It isn't the best tasting coffee drink but it is tastier than the nescafe and a good way to have some chocolate in the morning!
