The GREATEST week ever!!!

Disney Trip November 14 through November 20Janie, Lily, Andy, Billy, Shannon, Carol.Shannon, Andy, Janie and Lily flew from Columbus, OH and arrived in Orlando at 1:30 pm on November 14.* Of course our rooms were ready.* We were in building 5, a corner room with connecting doors!* Perfect for our family!

Shannon was our trip leader - a self proclaimed Dis addict!

Shannon, Lily, Andy and Jan flew in from Columbus, OH and arrived at about 1:30 to the airport.
Billy flew in from Seattle at about 6:00
Nana drove from South Carolina and had arrived a few hours before us (the Columbus people) Nana was standing outside the hotel when we arrived. She had been waiting for us for about 2 hours! The vacation had officially started and we were all very excited!

Hi, we have gotten off to a rocky start with our trip report, it's our first time doing a report so we're learning the ropes! We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was wonderful.
It's the greatest week to go to Disney. No lines and bus service was fantastic. Don't think I can every go any other week again!

We hung out at POFQ until Billy's arrival from Seattle. While we waited we decided to eat and swim! Lily couldn't wait to get in the pool! Unfortunately we found out that the slide would be down for refurb the whole week! They suggested we go use the Riverside slide if we wanted to. Never made it there but at least we had the option!
We had the meal plan so we decided to go to Floatworks at the resort and have some good food.

Lily went in the pool and we all sat in the lounge chairs enjoying the warm sunny weather! The weather was beautiful for our entire trip!

Billy arrived on schedule at about 6:00.* We were all so excited!* By the way, we begged Billy to go on this trip with us!* He just returned from a trip to Africa in the summer and is wanting to go to Costa Rica soon.* He is more of a safari-type traveler!* We were so excited he came with us to Disney.*
We had 7pm reservations for T-REX Cafe in Downtown disney. We took, the ferry boat from our resort to DTD and it was a lovely relaxing ride. When we arrived at T-REX Cafe we were seated in the Ice Cave area..... Lily's dream!

In the cave, it was very cool.The ice turns blue and pink. When the meteor shower is going on it turns red and orange very quickly!

After T-rex cafe we headed for World Of Disney store! The biggest disney store ever! Much to Billys like there were lots of hats but didn't get pics but Lily got a Minnie santa hat with a bow on it so it must be Minnie!!! I also got an I love Mickey long sleeved shirt it was so cute! They had bags on top of the ground we new something was up we waited for 5 minutes and removed the bags very nice chalk drawings we think it has to do with disney arts here are awesome pics

Now its Andys explanation time for Andy to say why he didn't eat at the awesome restraunt tonight he got on one nee and finally proposed after 20 years of being together off and on at least.for photos of proposal see Shannon's dis report here:http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2337260During the proposal all i was worried about was the day 2 itnerary Carol didn't handle it with much cool i would have too say everywhere we went she would tell everyone and people would cheer for them it got alot annoying after a while to Lily at least! JAN WRITING

Never been a big fan of Epcot but this was the best Epcot day ever!* The weather was perfect 83 degrees and sunny!* Our first ride was Spaceship Earth - very fun!* Then we headed over to Soarin to get FP.* Shannon, our leader was concerned about getting FP because it's always so busy.* When we got there, 15 min. wait was posted!* I don't think it was even 15 minutes.* We walked right up.* During the walk up Billy bailed because he doesn't like heights.* Lily was concerned for him but I think more so for herself because she was nervous for the ride too!* I loved it but Andy kept leaning forward and I was afraid he'd fall out.* I kept begging him to sit back.* It's a beautiful ride but I had some moments of motion sickness!* Everyone needs to do it though!!

Next Shannon went to get FP for Test Track I was a little wozzy Janie would do anything to get me on that ride money,her do tower of terror any of that stuff. So I finally agreed she has to go on her arch nemisis TOT. But I screamed at the track and she was like ohh no i have to go on TOT

heres me after the ride i look fine but im not

Then we went to Club Cool we hate the BEVERLY but pretty much love everything else. We tried to get some good pics of people drinking the Beverly but nobody made any good ones. I think on Shannon's trip report she may have a few good pictures.

After that we headed around the world showcase Shannon and I were going around and sadly only shannonMB got alot of character pics here are some that she did get pics of

They told us Beast would be out but he never made it. Shannon was so sad - she loves Beast!

Here's Lily at pick a pearl! She loves this!! They have a small cute little ceremony. Her pearl was pink..She's going to order a carriage necklace on line to have the pearl put in.

Billy, Nana and Andy went on Mission Space 2 times! They all loved it. Too much motion sickness for the rest of us.
We all went on The Seas with Nemo & Friends - no line of course!

We had 5:30 reservations for San Angel Inn
Didn't get any good pics but the restaurant is beautiful inside and out. After dinner we all went on the 3 Caballeros ride - so much fun!!

it got very chilly into the evening on our Epcot day. Shannon, Lily and Nana left Epcot at around 7pm and rode Spaceship Earth again on the way out. Janie, Andy and Billy stayed for Illuminations fireworks show. Janie bought a blanket to wrap around her because it was so chilly. It was the only real chilly night of the whole trip!

We headed for HollyWood Studios and we went strait for toy story mania cause we new it would be crowded it was only 15 minute wait so we just rode no line at all (perfect birthday wish) for me at least so we kept going through the line

Then we went to the Great Movie Ride i would recomend it for kids
out side of it was micheal jacksons hand prints and foot prints Andy thought his hands were huge!

Ok back to the subject

Then Janie, Shannon,Andy went to ride TOT and rockin roller caoaster before in epcot you remember i hated test track janie had to go on TOT but when she got off rockin roller coaster she balled into tears i figured thats hard core pay back! While they did that Billy,Lily,Nana went to see the characters from up in the anamation court yard we saw Carl and Dug the dog!
but Carl isn't rotten like he is in the movie he's sweet but who am i to judge my mom thinks beast from bueaty in the beast is hot!!!!


Then while we were done meeting character we found out what character we are most like. Lily was most like malefisent, Billy was most like tarzan and Nana was most like mrs. pott.
then we saw the Parade - Beach Party Bash but its not that good. And once again Nana not cool, dancing like shes never heard music But she was having fun. And she was a good girl on this trip. She didn't use her blackberry or her work phone very much at all.
Then we headed for Prime Time . Here are some tips not to get in trouble...... boys don't wear hats, dont spill drinks and come with a knowledge head they give you homework. Call her mom she's like the mother you never had.
Janie, Andy and nana went to Narnia show the rest of us waited but me and Billy went to One Mans Dream then we waited while Janie and Andy went to the Indiana Stunt Show then we went to star tours (NO LINE)

After Star Tours we went to the fantasmic! The show you have to go its a awsome show! Then we went to see the osborne lights they were awesome

Then we were so exausted so we went back to the room but my mother was so funny on the way back she said ''I hope you enjoyed your LOSSEY GOSSY day! '' I started to ball cause it was so funny!

We went to bed and said we have a HUGE magic kingdom day to do towmorrow.

We got to the park early for breakfast reservation at Crystal Palace our waiter was named Kip and he was very sweet! he gave me a card that was signed by all the characters and him!

In fanasyland it was walk on hope on very relaxing not having to* stand in lines for an hour for a 2 minute ride. Next we faced Billy's worst fear THE HAUNTED MANSION! Even though he loves it at least dosn't leave the line like in soarin. We got stuck for about 4 or 5 minutes. I'm not scared of the ride i'm scared of getting stuck.Then we wached Tianas showboat jamberi. It was preety good show. There was good dancing*

Next After that ohh opps I forgot befor Fantasy land we ran into the step mothers and step sisters. here are some nice pics of us at least me the rest arn't very picture perfect

ok now after Fanasy land we headed for toontown and Lily (me) was a little scared about Goffys barnstormer but if you read ShannonMBs trip report she did say it was her fault because she never took me on one ride till I was 6 YEARS OLD! So BUT I as braver than a 51 year old man on a 2 year old coaster!!! But in the end L loved it Whos talking now Billy after that we had too meet the faries it was 30 minute wait can't beat that Andys big moment he's about tp see his IDOL!!!!!!!!
