Last night they said we were getting 23" and I laughed.
This morning I picked up a shovel and all my doubts were erased.

Great shots everyone!! We spent the snowstorm driving from Virginia Beach, VA to Albany, NY

Actually we only made it to Bordentown, NJ before giving up after 9 hours of driving, most of which was at about 30 mph. After seeing an accident happen right in front of us, and dozens of cars off the road, we just couldn't push on any longer. I was almost in tears when my windshield wipers were freezing up and ice was collecting on the windshield!

In years of driving to NY over Christmas holidays, this was the first time I've had to throw in the towel and get a hotel. I'm jealous I missed shots of the snow- Albany didn't even get a freakin' inch!
