The great Rose mystery .... day 3

Yesterday a beautiful bouquet of Roses showed up at work. All of us Ladies swooned over the flowers but nobody knew who they belonged too.

Then there was talk that they belonged to one of the guys and that he had forgotten to take them home to his wife.

Well, the Roses are still here for a second day. How could someone forget them for two days in a row?


UPDATE - The roses are still here, three days later. There have been some jokes about them by now. If they don't leave by tonight it's really odd.

I agree with Kath here... maybe they are flowers for someone who does not want to acknowledge them as their flowers... men probably would not like to get roses... or maybe they are roses sent to someone by someone that they cannot stand.. and they do not want them in their house.. or maybe they were sent to someone who is allergic and can't have them in the house...therefore leave them in the office.. hmmmmm.. interesting mystery

EEK! That was my first thought. I hope that's not the case.

I hope they weren't delivered to the wrong place.

Maybe the person has been out sick? Maybe they are an anonymous office gift?

Oh, God ... that happened to me once. It wasn't that I couldn't stand them but clearly didn't feel the same way about them. A friend had sent me red roses on Valentines Day and it was very awkward.

These are pink roses, actually my favorites but I can't assume they are mine ... I could only wish.
