Am I really loosing it?

A while back I had heard that TGMR actually contains 2 rides within the same building. If my memory serves me correctly, supposedly you saw 1 sequence of scenes if you entered the ride platform from the maze exit on the right, and a different set of scenes if you entered from the maze exit on the left.

While I have experienced the ride a number of times, I do not remember any differences. Am I forgetful/blind or did someone tell me a fib?

No your fine. Yes there are two scences. One is a gangster and the other is a western one.

Both cars are on the same "track" but webmomom is correct, when the car stops, one of them stops for a Western shootout & the other stops for a Gangster shootout. Other than that, the ride is completely the same.

Whew! :D

I guess we've always happened to wind up in the line to see the gangster shootout, where the gangster tries to getaway (more or less) by driving the car that we are in.

Thanks for clarifying this for me.

If I wanted to see the western shootout, can I control that by selecting a particular line or is it strictly by chance?

I didn't know that there were two different scenes! I've only been on it twice and both times I got the gangster scene. I hope the next time I ride I get the western scene. :)
