Yesterday I went out to check the mail and when I opened the mailbox this is what I saw......
That's right ladies and gentlemen, Flat Jordan has arrived!! He is already up to mischief around here but is making us laugh which is exactly what we need right now.
As I mentioned earlier, I was going to take DH on a picnic today to cheer him up. DS and I packed up the picnic basket and away the 3 of us headed to a brand new local park! When we arrived, I opened the back of the Yukon and what should I find?? You guessed it....Flat Jordan! He said he could have swore he saw a couple of squirrels plotting for our basket of goodies and so he was protecting it.
After we stuffed our bellies with lots of yummy sandwiches, and chips, we then had watermelon and ended the picnic with a slice each of banana nut bread. We headed toward the childrens playground section of the park so DS could play and along the way we again found Flat Jordan watching out for us.
We had a wonderful picnic and walk through the park. I think this is just what DH needed today.
I'd also like to add here that I took the above pictures with my camera that "DIED" on our last trip. A few days ago, I got aggrivated trying to find a bag to fit my new camera in that was comfortable enough for me (5' 3") to lug around WDW. I have found NOTHING. The bag I ordered is too big for me.

So in my frustration, I took a screwdriver to my broken camera. I opened it up, saw all the millions of parts inside, then closed it back because there was no way I could possibly figure out what's wrong with it. Well, when I put the last screw in I pushed the power button just to see if anything happened and it TURNED ON!!!!!!

I took a couple of pics and everything seemed OK. I turned it off and the little automatic lens cover doesn't close over the lens.

After messing with it a bit, I got it to close but it's back to staying open. I took this camera to the park today so that I could test it out. It seems to be working fine now but the lens cover just won't close. I may take this camera (assuming it still works in 20 more days) to the parks with me and use my new "better" camera for picture taking around the resort.
