We are 4 days away from making our honeymoon dining reservations and we would like to eat a nice, romantic dinner, not Victoria and Alberts because its not us...anyways, I would like to know what your favorite place to eat a romantic dinner is and why....

THANKS!

Ok, this list for me could go on for awhile....

DF and I are actually eating at the Chef's Table at V and A's on our honeymoon b/c it is something I have always wanted to do, and I think it will be memorable. Other than that, our honeymoon ressies are as follows (but are scheduled to change, lol):

Le Cellier (a must!!!)
San Angel Inn (very romantic!)
Rose and Crown
Yachtsman Steakhouse (AWESOME steaks!!!)
Sci-Fi
Mama Melrose
Narcoosee's or Citrico's
ESPN (for the college football National Championship games in Jan!:dance3: cannot WAIT!!!) FIGHT ON, TROJANS!!!
Either BlueZoo or Flying Fish

Hope this helps!

We are doing dinner at :

1900 Park Fare
San Angel Inn
Narcoosees
La Cellier
Sci Fi
V&A

We're also having a character breakfast at Ohana's the day before our wedding.

Another one here for Le Cellier.
We are also going to try Artist Point which looks very nice. I also highly recommend Jiko's. It is next to a walkway that leads to the pool, so I would go at night when that area isn't that active. Finally, I have heard that the California Grille is a very nice spot, and you can watch wishes from there too.

You should try asking this question over on the Restaurants Board. The folks over there are very friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of Disney dining! I'm sure they could point you in the right direction!:)

We really like the Brown Derby at MGM. Make sure you tell them you are on your honeymoon! I just love those little cozy round booths they have there!
We had a nice romantic dinner there the night we got engaged!

Le Cellier - very good steaks and the soup is delicious!!!
Artist Point - very nice, the staff was very friendly and the buffalo was tasty!
California Grill - the service, food, and view can't be beat!
O'Hana - I wouldn't normally classify it as "romantic," but the time we went it was a very late seating so there weren't many kids or loud activities - and we got to watch Wishes (they dim the lights and pipe in the music)

Good luck and have a GREAT Disneymoon!!!! princess: :groom: pixiedust:

Oh I forgot one that DF and I ate at. Mama Melrosa's at The Studios. Really good food and a nice atmosphere.

I'll add my vote for the Cali Grill, it was an amazing experience and maybe the best food i've ever tasted (and I'm VERY picky about my food).

Also, it may sound cheesy, but Cinderella's Royal Table was also an amazing experience. We had dinner there our first night at disney and they treated us amazingly. I actually cried b/c the fairy godmother said such nice things to us about being newlyweds etc....(good happy tears of course :))

I'll add yet another vote for Le Cellier - we had a GREAT experience there (service and food) although the tables there are VERY close together which proved to be good and bad for us. To our right, there was a very nice lady who just happened to also be from PA that chatted with us (but not TOO much because she knew we were on our honeymoon  ), but to our left there was a family who were definitely fighting over something (to the point that one of the kids actually got up and left the table because his mom was making him that upset - and loudly!).

Other than that, CA Grill was great for the atmosphere but we had a bad service experience there - we only ordered one alcoholic beverage and the family next to us actually ordered two bottles of high-priced wine. Needless to say, most of the time we had to talk to her, we had to flag her down as she was leaving the table next to us. Seeing Wishes while we ate dessert couldn't be beat though. :cloud9:

Good luck and have a great time!!

Ok, don't laugh.... but when my boyfriend and I ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe, we thought it was very romantic. We were sat in the back right corner... we were sat at a table that was in the middle of the area right in front of this giant rustic fireplace. It's situated off the rest of the floor so we didn't get much of the antics... and didn't hear much of them either.

Well, V&A's is our favourite, but I dig that it's not for everyone.

We thought Artist's Point was amazing. We had a wonderful server and the food was out of this world.
Other than that, I think my other favourite meal would have been at Le Bistro de Paris. Ooh la la!

I am embarrassed to say Cindy's Royal Table...but it was definately the most romantic meal on our last trip! We are eating there the last night of our wedding trip. Something about the staircase and the windows.

I also suggest San Angel Inn. Very nice, mellow place.

Bistro de Paris in Epcot definitely has a romantic feel to it. Its secluded upstairs and has a nice view of the lake. My DF took me there for dinner as a surprise and timed our reservation so that Illuminations was going on during dinner. It was definitely a wonderful surprise.

Unfortunately I can't recommend San Angel Inn.... I got violent food poisoning there a few years ago and it ruined my entire Disney Trip

I vote for Narcoosee's (it's my favorite restaurant in Disney and it's so romantic because they lower the lights and allow anyone to go watch the Wishes fireworks on the deck overlooking the water. I love it!!) :yay:

I think it's a must! (and better than Citricos!!!!)

Also, Cindy's Table is a fantastic memory! Character wise, I've always been a fan of the Liberty Tree Tavern. The characters always seem to take the time to interact with you!

The dessert at the Kona Cafe is always good!

Also a fan of Le Chefs du France for lighter dinners.

From what I've read, Restaurant Marrakesh was always surprisingly excellent... the belly dancing is very tasteful. DF and I are planning to try it when we go for our site visit, but it's always fun to try food that is different!!
