I'll have to take Lydia out of school, but she's just going to be in first grade, so hopefully they don't hassle me about it. This will probably be better for her than us taking her out in September when we originally planned on going.

We had to do this twice. Basically, the teachers weren't obligated to prepare any work, but like you said, there's not much going on in first grade.

Marna- When we went with BIL and SIL right after Thanksgiving last year, her teacher gave her homework and before we would go to the parks everyday, she had to do that day's work or else she could not go. It did not take her long- but she knew she had to get it done.

You might be able to ask her teacher about that.

Im here!!

Ive been busy the last little bit. My best friend just had her baby last week, and another had her baby last night. I had my glucola test to check for gestational diabetes yesterday, along with a terrible rhogam shot in the buttox. Yuck!

Im in my 29th week-- where has the time gone? Im almost in the "home stretch"... which is the last 10wks. WOW... didnt think id be saying that.

This weekend i think im canning a bunch of green beans from the garden. YUM! What fun, right?

I go for my 4D u/s next Tuesday so hopefully ill have a bunch of fun baby photos to show you guys (features and all).



DH finished building the dogs ramp outside. It looks good and they seem to like it a lot. I should take photos--lol. Ellie is still limping-- took her to the vet twice last week. They cant figure out anything wrong with her. They say she doesnt have a torn cruciate and nothing came back on the xrays for that leg (mainly the other leg-- and it was with her hip). Im hoping the ramp will help her with the leg. Its been a rough few months with us and our dogs. I suppose this is whats to come from here on out.

Everyone enjoying the sunshine and rain? We have had our fair share of rain-- but the sun is nice too. I think we have a pretty good balance of both (although some gardens don't think so-- esp. when it comes to ROTTING POTATOS!).

LOL! HEY FREAPS! I guess we are all busy, so I will start yapping We spent Fathers Day weekend at the cabin at the lake with my Dad (in OK)- Wes had a great time! Then came back to my home town, bc my uncle and cousins were visit from PA (the are Disney freaks like me, so this made me very happy!) No I am home working on tie dye like crazy again.. oh, and tutu's! ha! lol. So, here are some Wes pics from this weekened!

And this last one is a family shot, but I love it bc of Wesleys smile- haha.

I might mention that everyone was drunk but me and Wes lol- which seems to be the way it goes!

Tinker the Pics of Wes are adorable. We are still alittle busy here but this the last week of school for me until Fall semester. I really need the break. We went and seen Transformers 2 last night and it was great. Maggie man time is flying by with your pregnancy. I would love to see your 4d US pics. I have never seen those before keep us posted.

Tinker-looks like you had a great time with family! I think I get that same look as Wes when I'm stuck at a family function.

We have been busy here as well with swim lessons, summer reading at the library, garden work, etc. Plus, I worked last night and I am whooped.

How is everyone doing??

DH got his boat in the water. Tomorrow will be the first time we sail this season. (crossing my fingers the winds will cooperate!) Weird thing is, that high tide is not until almost 7 pm. So we will be sailing later in the day.

The waterfront in Philly is having some big fireworks, we are going to hang out on the boat and watch them. It will have to be at the dock b/c DH does not have his lights hooked up yet so we can't have to boat out in the dark. But chillin' on the docked boat will be nice. I will pack a cooler for the day.

I should bring my camera! Off to charge the batteries-

Thanks Madd! Sorry again for my absence you guys- My aunt passed, and then DBF's mom was put in ICU! I'm telling you- I couldnt make up this much drama for my life! And yes I do sell them on EBAY... although I just started recently, bc so many people were asking for them, lol. Black and white, what a cool idea! I just got some black dye in today, so I think I will try it out and see!

The boat sounds fun! What's everyone doing for the 4th???

I sent you a PM with my email Cassi. I know you have some much on your plate lately. This spring summer has been very weird and very much dramatic around here. I am so glad to see you back as well. Wes is sooooooooo cute. He reminds me of my nephew.

Madd thanks for the nice words on my pic.

As for the fourth we are going over to my sil to have a cookout and set off a few minor fireworks before watching the ones at the ball park.
