Arrive at OKW on 12/23 about 4 PM. About a 2 minute wait to check in, I requested top floor non smoking and it seemed as if room was not pre assigned, cast member was able to give me a great room building 35.

Room was in good shape, at first glance, headed out for dinner and got back about 9:30 , time to hit the sack for the kids. As I am getting them ready I hear what sound like a cross between a chain saw and motorcycle. This strange sound is coming from the frig ever time it cycles on and off.

The next morning DS & DD and I head for MK and leave DW behind to catch up with us later. She goes to make coffee, it is broken, frying pan look like it had has been there since 91, that is 1891 :rotfl:. It took to 2 calls to get everything. Seem like since they combined service with Saratoga Springs things are not up to speed. I have no issues with a broken coffee maker, or a bad pan. I dont think that every issue requires 2+ calls.

I had to make 2 calls to get a towel package, and the bill was not at my door for express check out, which took 2 more calls. When we got the bill and headed to the parks on the last day, my charging privilages had been deacivited.

While nothing was major I think they can do better.
BTW if you get room 3530 be prepared for the strange frig sounds, they never did fix it and I was not in the room long enough to demand a new frig.

This was our 7 Chrismas trip to WDW and it was great.

Could the sound from the fridge be a marketing campaign signalling the building of a new DVC at Contemporary??????

That's why they're saving up all the new coffeemakers . . . so I get a working one when I check into CRV (Contemporary Resort Villas.) :rotfl2:

In Sept our frig made strange sounds too. I finally realized that it was making ice and more ice and more ice because the thing that should have shut it off was down in the container. Every time it dumped more ice it made strange noises because it was trying to push ice where there was not much room. Once I removed the freezer full of ice and put the thingy back where it belonged it quieted right down. We don't usually use the ice so hadn't looked in there until the noise made me curious.
