We just returned yesterday from Pop Century....overall for the money we would definitely stay there again.
We checked in Wednesday - early evening. The check in took about 10 minutes total and was very painless. We had a room in the 60's building....second floor...the room was fine - like a nice Holiday Inn style room. The parking is horrible and sometimes it felt like we needed a golf cart to get around the resort. The only thing that bothered me about the room was the fact that it wasn't *clean*....what I mean is - the people staying before us must have celebrated a birthday, because there was birthday confetti all over the place....makes me wonder what else was down there....but the last night we were there I got sick all over the place so we left it in much worse shape than we found it.
We used the Hippy Dippy pool - loved it, although no drinks alllowed in or by the pool. We ate breakfast everyday in the food court and it was always crowded and hard to find a table. I thought the breakfast food was quite good although some of it seemed overpriced.....pancakes for $7??!!
We used the bus service one day but drove the rest of the time. The bus driver got lost on the way back to the resort and it took us forever to get back.
Overall for $49 a night it was definitely worth it.

Just kidding, sorry you were sick. Glad to hear you liked the resort.
