The Golf Cart Thread

Youve got all the bells and whistles to make it street legal....are you planning to get a tag for it? It would be great to help save on a little gas making quick runs to the grocery(beer)store and other erands around the house!!! Good job.
Howd that big ol'rock get into your yard???? You growin a mountain?;)

At the current 12mph Im runnin, it might take forever, but when my tires start to show some wear...Im gonna get some all terrain tires and add flares, I like the way they add visual width to the cart.
A house with a flame job....hmmmmmm, ya got me to thinkin, man!!!

No tag. It's just that the campground I own a lot in is so big and has so many carts buzzin around that some times there are traffic jams and my wife insisted on the lights.

We live in a very rocky area (north Delaware within 1 mile of the highest point in the state, all of 447')but most of the rocks are well below ground. I have 2 that are the size of a small car in my yard. They both came from the basement hole when they were building the house.

Call Ft. Wilderness Bike Barn. The number is in the FAQ at the top of camping board.

Our new cart.

What do you all think ?
I am thinking rear fender flairs and maybe some flames
Sweet ride.

I'm trying to figure out how to post photos in the Disboards photo section so I can link to them here so I can post photos of ours. But when I go to the photo section it say I can post but I don't see the action buttons to do it.

Join photobucket.com,upload them to photobucket. on photobucket under the pictures in your album are the url's highlite the bottom one(IMG CODE), right click and copy the link, than paste the link here in your post and you have pictures.

I understand that method, but I thought you could post them here on the Dis. I don't have a reason to put pictures on photobucket or flickr other than to post a few photos of our campsite and golf cart here on the Dis. I'd just as soon keep them here where I want them to wind up than to open up a new relationship with a new site...I'm kind of a technophobe like than I guess.

if you don't want to do that, just use imageshack.us (no www), it can be a one time use thing and you don't have to sign up for anything at all...

This is the best thread on the Dis.

I doubt if my cart ever makes it to FW, but here is a pic of my cart right before Halloween list year.

It looked pretty neat when it got dark and the lantern and lantern lights were on.

The second pic is not so great but you get the idea.

The cart bug bites you. I just installed me CD player, Sirius Satellite radio, as well as a few other bells and whistles.

Lowering the cart is next and possible chopping the top.
