CAST: Me - a bit of a commando, believes in the saying, "80% of life is showing up" but not only showing up, showing up EARLY! loves WDW, likes to walk swiftly.

DH- "Map Man" has a freaky, but useful internal GPS in his head. Claims he doesn't like Disney all that much but he initiated this trip. Also a swift walker.

DD " Mouth All Mighty" Yeah she's chatty. We should have thought that sibling thing out more. Age 7 going on 30. Loves WDW and Mickey.
Has this thing about getting Excellent service. Can walk swiftly when she needs to.

DC - Grace the cat 11 months old. She is going to "cat camp". This place is the Grand Floridian for cats.

Before I start day 3 I must clarify that according to Map Man who just read my last post , it is Portsmouth not Portsmith NH and we didn't even go there, it was Manchester. Well my name isn't Map Woman is it? He drives for a reason.
In my defense we don't live in NH and I don't like to be bothered with details! We drove for awhile, there was a plane I got on it and then I got off in Orlando.

Ok on to day 3. Our first full day at WDW. We got up, Mickey had decorated the mirror with Pooh and Princess clings and had written using MY eye pencil,
(thanks Mickey you broke the tip off) " Sorry about R-n-R " He left Mouth a swim suit and Nemo towel. She liked that since Mickey had mentioned about her trying RNR in his note yesterday. We then headed for the bus stop to be at MK at opening. No problems with that we got there by 8:40 and were quickly in the park. Mouth and I walked very swiftly to Dumbo and Map Man did a Splash Mountain dash for Fast passes. He met up with us outside Peter Pan very proud of himself but rather sweaty and with hurting shins from his shin splints, BUT he was the first one at Splash Mountain! We did all of Fantasy Land with no waits to speak of and then went over about 10:15 to do Splash Mountain as it turned out we didn't really need the FP and we rode both Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain with no problems. In fact we did SM several times in a row much to Mouth's delight, this is her favorite ride. So far it was a zippity do dah day alright. We left MK about noon hot, but feeling we had conquered the crowds. On the way out we saw some of Cinderellabration and then rode the boat back to WL. We had lunch at Roaring Forks and had a swim and a rest and then headed back to MK for our Liberty Tree Tavern Dinner at 5:40. Liberty Tree Tavern is the one place Mouth will break her all Pizza/chicken nugget diet. She loves that place.
We had time so we did Haunted Mansion first and then just as it was starting to really thunder we got seated for dinner. As soon as we sat Goofy came over. Mouth was supposedly "over" the characters but she was very excited in spite of herself to see them. After Goofy, the food came and Mouth was cackling to herself about how this was excellent service! It was good, but excellent service to Mouth means she likes it. She picked this excellent service up from our Disney Cruise trip. She is not short on announcing when she feels she is not getting excellent service either. It is sort of like traveling with a wealthy old woman. The rest of the Characters came around and Goofy came back again. He "forgot" he had already signed her book so he did again. Excellent service Goofy. Mouth ate a lot, and then we went and did Splash Mountain and then headed out of the park before Wishes. It's a great show but we didn't want to deal with the crowd. We swam in the quiet pool and went in the hot tub there, it has the strongest jets I have ever seen. They could push you around the whole hot tub if you took your butt of the seat. Since no one else was there we let Mouth do that for awhile then off to bed. I guess we used up our portion of pixie dust today because tomorrow was going to be a whole new world, as Aladdin would say. Tomorrow the curse of S
