here: thats for if it was 5x^2 and not six.
Factor it:
5x^2 - 25x - 30 = 0 (factor out a 5)
5(x^2 - 5x - 6) = 0 (factor by finding two integers that multiply to equal -6, but add to equal -5, which are 1 and -6)
5(x - 6)(x + 1) = 0 (because the equation equals 0, separate the parentheses into different equations)

x - 6 = 0
x = 6

x + 1 = 0
x = -1

ANSWER: x = 6, -1

i am not sure if this is right tho.

I just found a website that factors equations for you and I plugged this one in, and it didn't work out...so I guess it can't be factored..

I just found a website that factors equations for you and I plugged this one in, and it didn't work out...so I guess it can't be factored..
