GH Previews: Week of February 1
A LIFETIME OF LIES
**Sonnys horrified to realize hes shot his own son. Olivia and Sonny work feverishly to keep Dante alive until the paramedics arrive. Lulu fears the worst has happened when Dante and Sonny are no-shows at Josslyn's christening. She makes a horrifying discover when she goes to Sonny's looking for Dante. Olivia overhears Sonny telling a barely conscious Dante that they are father and son. She unleashes on Sonny for telling Dante the truth. Dante is rushed to the hospital, where Johnny stands by Olivia who is holding vigil for her son. Lulu stuns everyone at Josslyn's party where she lashes out at Jason and accuses Sonny of shooting Dante. She leaves the party and goes to the hospital where she rips into Sonny.
Jason insists that Sonny leave the country to escape being arrested, but he refuses to leave Dante. Luke, Carly and Ethan gather around to support Lulu. Lulu is by Dantes side when he awakes from surgery. Dante believes he was dreaming when he heard Sonny claim to be his father. Olivia regrets not having told Sonny the truth about Dante when he first came to town. Lulu tells Dante he wasn't dreaming and it is true that Sonny is his father. Dante takes his anger out on Olivia, accusing her of lying to him his entire life. Sonny makes it as far as the tarmac but cant bring himself to turn his back on Dante and leave the country despite Jasons protests. Olivia and Dante both lie to protect Sonny. Lulu has a hard time accepting Dantes decision to cover for Sonny. Sonny is released from police custody and goes to visit Dante at the hospital.
ELSEWHERE IN PORT CHARLES
Carly discovers a DVD from Franco among the gifts from the christening. Jason stops Morgan from playing the DVD Franco sent. Robin is shocked to learn that Patrick knew Dominic is really Dante, Sonny's son. Michael confesses to Morgan, Kristina and Molly that hes the one who killed Claudia. Robin remains angry with Patrick for not telling her the truth about Dominic. Carly walks out on Jax with Josslyn and Morgan in tow. Nikolas suspends Elizabeth after she has another meltdown at the hospital. Nikolas appeals to Lucky to reach out to Elizabeth but he refuses. Kiefer is abusive with Kristina, again.

Nikolas suspends Elizabeth after she has another meltdown at the hospital on Friday, February 5.

THIS WEEK ON: GENERAL HOSPITAL
Carly finds a "gift" for Jason from Franco among Josslyn's christening presents. Robin learns that Patrick has been keeping her in the dark. Michael unburdens himself to Morgan, Kristina and Molly. Jax admits his culpability to Carly on Thursday, February 4. Kiefer and Kristina's relationship continues in its unsettling spiral. On Friday, February 5, Nikolas is forced to take action after Elizabeth has another meltdown at the hospital. Nikolas appeals to Lucky.
The Inside Story: The First Cut Is The Deepest
On Monday, February 1, OIivia tells a horrified Sonny that he shot his own son. Sonny and Olivia struggle to keep Dante alive as they wait for the paramedics to arrive. Lulu's fears are validated when she arrives at Sonny's apartment and sees jarring evidence of Dante's fate. Sonny tells a barely conscious Dante that he is his father. Olivia lashes out at Sonny. Johnny is there for a wrecked Olivia. Lulu makes sure everybody knows just what Sonny did and then faces off with the mobster. Sonny refuses to leave Dante despite Jason's warning on Tuesday, February 2, and ends up under arrest for Claudia's murder. Sam manages to steal vital evidence against Sonny from the police station as Jason fills Carly in on the situation with her ex. Luke, Carly and Ethan do their best to comfort a reeling Lulu. Olivia wishes she had made different decisions. Carly is sympathetic to Olivia's plight. Lulu is by Dante's side when he awakes from surgery. Dante is stunned when Lulu confirms that Sonny is indeed his father on Thursday, February 4. Dante rages at Olivia. Carly implores Sonny to leave the country before it's too late. Mac starts to question Olivia as Lucky begins to take Dantes statement. Sonny aborts his escape at the last moment, unable to turn his back on Dante. Olivia and Dante both lie to protect Sonny. Sonny arrives at Dante's hospital room on Friday, February 5.

I was a bit horrified and then I came to my senses and realized this is a SOAP!!
Part of me was waiting for Olivia to wake up and that it had all been a dream!!!
...I mean you find your son SHOT and dying on the floor. You KNOW Sonny just shot the kid. You leave your child ALONE with this guy? How crazy is that?
