Anyone else seriously disappointed with Robin's pregnancy? I was really excited for this story line and she isn't even enjoying it. She spends more time rejecting Patrick then having cravings or decorating the nursery. Fun things a new, first time mom might do. They still have time to turn it around. I am hoping for a happier ending!

I feel dizzy with the story keep going round and round in circles, just when you think there is progress and they will finally both stop whining it's back to square one. Much like their story sans baby, so no real change there.

Hey, I'm just happy they didn't make Layla or whatever her name is pregnant by Patrick too!
I agree. We only got to see her thinking about what color to paint the closet/nursery that one time. What about picking out baby clothes? Why doesn't she take Patrick to check out baby gear? eat some ice cream! crave steak even though you don't like red meat! the way they are having her play it is just too boring. I had a friend who had a pregnancy like Robyn's- she didn't seem to have any fun.
I wish she would stop just acting like she is such wonderment all the time (some time is good- it is an amazing thing) and act like she is having a good time. Also, I hate that she is suddenly so insecure about being "fat." In my group (4 of us pregnant at the same time, with a 5th friend pregnant shortly afterwards), the only person who said anything about feeling "fat" was the one who had recently lost a lot of weight, and was having difficulty getting into the mindset that gaining was good. The rest of us were like- We're huge! We're pregnant! let's eat!

Previews for the week of 30-Jun-2008 by Carol Banks Weber
**Carly intends to blame her pregnancy on Jason, regardless of the truth of whether she is actually, in fact, pregnant. Carly takes a home pregnancy test, but commands Jason to read it, which he doesn't feel like doing at first, but does in the end. Both Carly and Jason are overjoyed to see that she's not with child. Jax inquires of Carly as to whether she slept with Sonny, and that's why he's wanting a paternity test. Carly discloses to Jax that she was never with child in the first place.
Jax pulls Carly in for an embrace and apologizes for thinking the worst. Out of anger with Sonny's audacity and out of spite, Carly messes with Kate, using mind games and name-dropping (remember Brenda and the wedding Sonny bailed on?). Carly shares the no-pregnancy news with Sonny, and then delivers a threat only he can appreciate. Sonny bristles as Carly promises to wreck his wedding to Kate if he chooses to interfere in her and Jax's marriage. She also informs him that she already started the ball rolling when she brought up Brenda to Kate. Enraged, Sonny explodes at Carly about keeping his children from him. Carly happens to be talking with Jax's airplane pilot when she learns that her husband locked lips with Sonny's fiancée.
Anna enlightens Patrick on the subject of Robin and her infuriating need for independence. It's because of her mostly fatherless, boundless, unpredictable childhood. In discussing Robin's childhood issues with Patrick, Anna blames herself for handling it all wrong. Anna can't yet believe in Patrick's commitment to Robin and their baby-until he speaks up for himself. Anna plays a major role in breaking Robin and Patrick's impasse. Anna breaks down Robin's wall by bringing up the way she was brought up.
Jason and Sonny engage in conflict; one disapproves of how the other runs things. Spinelli's recollection of the quarantine has Elizabeth feeling insecure about Jason and Claudia.
Jerry points his weapon at Johnny, finger on the trigger.
Nikolas takes care to put the Zacchara family on red alert when it comes to his sister Lulu. Logan lowers himself as a man by throwing himself at Lulu. Logan levels a menacing promise Maxie's way. Bye-bye, Logan, we hardly knew you.

Just days after joining the staff of General Hospital, Dr. Matt Hunter (played by "Days of our Lives" alum Jason Cook) takes a liking to Lulu after her visit with Spinelli in the hospital. After a brush off from Lulu, Logan lets Matt in on a business proposition, but Maxie warns Matt to stay away from Logan. Nikolas, Leyla, Matt and Nadine work together in figuring out if the drugs given to a patient treated at the clinc were actually placebos. Matt informs Nikolas that counterfeit drugs were a lucrative business for organized crime.
A Closer Look: Remembering May 1, 2008
ABC Daytime and "General Hospital" will be in re-run mode on Independence Day, July 4, therefore the network will present the May 1, 2008 episode of the soap opera in which Claudia sets a plan in motion by changing her story about Anthony threatening her life. Sonny and Jason's relationship begins to strain, while Claudia and Johnny form a secret alliance against their father. Look for Kate to receive a startling message from Ian, while Maxie finds a large amount of money missing from Crimson's operating account. Sonny has a warning for Luke about his growing attachment to the Zacchara family and their organization. Nikolas and Emily share their final dance as Nikolas agrees to live life to the fullest.

Carly objects to Jax's kissing Kate. REALLY?...and having sex with your ex, as your comatose child lays in nursing home. THAT is okay?...How ridiculous. Kind of gross besides. 
I mean can this man(Sonny) ever keep his pants zipped?
I have to say that I'm also tired of seeing this story line. With Sonny populating half of PC. Another "who's the daddy". HOW OLD ARE THESE PEOPLE? I mean I can see a teen pregnancy..but this is ridiculous already, Considering how many times we've seen Carly pregnant...and misscarry. Can they think of anything else for her character. It's old. Frankly, I can't watch it.
I am happy to see some development of Spinelli's character..it's about time. I look forward to finding out more about his past and what brought him to PC.
As far as Robin and Patrick. Anyone remember the applause when Robin left the first time?....It was because of the constant whining. Seems to me that this character is right back to it. The "woman" is supposed to be a doctor. Yet she has the SAME conversation time and time again with Patrick. It's another gagger as far as I'm concerned. Is she DUMB AS DIRT or what? How many ways can you possible say the SAME THING? How many times are we the viewers expected to hear it and not groan and walk out of the room. I realize it's summer, and things get pretty slow..but this is getting out of hand. Pop the kid out already, and lets be done with it. If it's not any fun, and she isn't enjoying the pregnancy and the entire focus is on this "you don't have to be a part of this baby's life" crap, let's just move on. We all know there will be this revelation when Patrick falls in love with his child and will become father of the year, proving Robin wrong. Let's just cut to the chase.

General Hospital Spoilers & Scoops! Here's the Scoop! 07.01.08
**Scrubs Stuff! Well really, Noah and Patrick stuff. Grandpa Drake is popping back in to GH just in time to tell his son he doesn't think Patrick is daddy material. Will it bring up some long ago buried father-son issues? You bet! Both Noah and Anna will be in court with their children. Rick Springfield returns on July 7th! Patrick's testimony will have Robin changing her mind.
We need to change his name from the Jackal to Captain Oblivious. Spinelli doesn't catch on that Leyla is crushing on him. Who else is oblivious? Maxie! We knew that already but RUMORS say Lulu tells Maxie to open her eyes and see that Spinelli is in love with her.
Liason Fans... I feel your pain. I'm right there with you in my Liason Love. All I can say is keep taking those little moments we're getting. I'm still hearing our patience will pay off towards the end of the month. Anthony being made aware of Elizabeth's importance to Jason was not for nothing. It's a plot point that I am hearing will be re-visited. All those paternity reveal RUMORS? What's going on? While at first it was SPOILED that Jake's true daddy is revealed, it may not be to everyone in PC. I am hearing that a few more people will learn the truth. There are only a few people who don't know the truth!
Trouble for Carly and Jax. It's already started with the little bit of "advice" Sonny gave Jax. He won't be happy with Carly and jax knows his wife will become obsessed with stopping Kate and Sonny's weddding.
RANDOM RUMORS...
Someone sends Elizabeth flowers. Who? RUMORS say ZaCrazy. Hmmm... it seems he MIGHT not have forgotten about the Nurse after all. Some say it's Lucky sending Elizabeth flowers and in a RUMOR TWIST, it could be Matt sending the flowers as there are RUMORS that the new doc takes an interest in the single nurse. IF the Matt STUFF is true, it's really nothing. Much like Leo's interest in Elizabeth. IF it's Lucky sending the bouquet, I would imagine it has to do with faking a reconciliation.
The drug storyline may be picked back up... through Nikolas' clinic.
Remember the money being moved in Ian's accounts? Well it looks like it MAY be Dr. Matt Hunter doing the moving. Will he approach Jerry Jacks about his past dealings with Dr. Devlin?
Claudia's secret? Remember that one? Yet another secret we haven't found out, yet. If the RUMORS are true, we may learn what Claudia's been hiding. Who is she telling? Well RUMORS say Sonny. Claudia MAY be telling Sonny that she slept with Trevor!

Ilia Volok, 42, is joining the cast of "GH" in the recurring role of Karpov beginning with the Friday, July 18 episode of the soap, confirms a show spokesperson.
Karpov is a Russian mob kingpin who tries to tempt Sonny into conducting business with him, essentially bringing Sonny Corinthos back into play within organized crime once more - Sonny gave up his half of the Corinthos organization after his son, Michael Corinthos, was shot in the head earlier this year and sent into a coma. Oh Dear God I am so done with her. No, Jax you can't kiss Kate even though I had limo sex with Sonny the night we dropped Michael off then I came right home and had sex with you. Don't worry though, I took a shower in between.
I loved how Jason looked and sounded so disgusted when she was telling him what she did especially when she said I came home and took a shower then I needed Jax or something like that. He was so grossed out. I was happy when he said NO and that he was going to tell her all the reason why he would say no but not until she even took the test. I can not stand to watch when Carly is on screen. I'm soooooo done with her.
I keep watching and hoping that they will finally have Jason and Liz together. I want them to be a couple that actually stays together and not be ripped apart right away. Really, that's all I'm hanging on for now.
