Yes, what the heck is the point of the Jacksonville storyline...just to get Carly out of PC? So odd.

Agreed. I have no interest Carly's story. I read that Carly would be going on a journey of "self-discovery" after her divorce from Sonny. She lost the Metro Court and a bunch of her money. She started working with an executive coach to figure out her next move. Now she's revisiting her childhood in Florida. It's all about character development, but I'm finding it rather boring. I'd rather see the hook!

They also need her out of town so Willow can get really sick and can only be saved by a blood relative and of course only Carly knows Nina can help her .

I guess I'm in the minority. I'm enjoying Carly's story out of town. Something different. She's done everything else in Soap world.
I love Cam Matheson, so I'm enjoying them working on this together. And Wow when he came out in the towel after his shower!!

I miss Jason, too. I really hope he shows up again one day. IMO, he and Carly have much better chemistry than Drew and Carly.

Yeah...that ending...they needed to bring back someone I had forgotten even existed (thought his storyline was over) to add to the hook victim list????

I saw that Holly was coming back but I didn't know it was next week. I always liked her. I'm guessing Victor was somehow responsible for her being held captive. They seem to tie everything like this to Victor.

I agree about Elizabeth. She is such a whiney insecure annoying person. I'm so done with her.

Anyone else thinking Esme is going to double cross her father? And she needs a new coat....if anything screams "suspicious lurker", it's a black hooded cloak.

The killer is definitely Esme; right? I know she told Ryan she wasn't, but who else would want that drug guy dead besides her?

Seems the obvious suspect, but with these writers, who really knows? They could twist it so Esme is not the killer.

Question about Carly, since I didn’t watch for many years during her early life...isn’t Bobbie Spencer her mother? So is Bobbie the bio mom and Virginia Benson the adoptive mom? All the talk about changing her name, seems she should use Spencer to honor Bobbie. But LOL, I have a feeling if she does, it will be Morgan, after Jason, as well as her dead son. Or she will end up marrying Drew.

And isn’t the new (temp?) Brooklyn, the same actress who was the old Brooklyn?

I would think Carly would go with Spencer, but who knows.

The actress playing Brook Lynn temporarily does look familiar, but I don't know if she was the original one.

Yes, Carly's bio mother is Bobbie and Virginia and Frank Benson were her adoptive parents. Nelle was also adopted by the Benson's and Frank sold her kidney to Jax to give Josslyn. It seems like Carly should use the Spencer name now that she's reconciled with Bobbie and is part of the Spencer family. Or she could go back to her roots and use Benson, but I doubt she'd want to share a last name with Nelle. It's kind of weird that she wouldn't have the same last name as any of her kids, but that's the life of a soap character!

And yes, the temporary Brooklyn is Brianna Lane who played her when Amanda Setton was on maternity leave. Brianna played Brooklyn when Nelle slashed her vocal chord and when she slept with Valentin.

Thanks for that. I knew she looked familiar to me, but just didn't put 2 + 2 together until you said her name! I do not like her character Mrs Honeycutt though!

I miss Jason too,,the show isn't quite the same without him. I loved him and Carly together while Sonny was missing and presumed dead

Yep. And when they did previews at the end of the show on Thursday, the voiceover was "Next week on General Hospital..." instead of "Tomorrow on General Hospital".
