Help!! This water madness in WV (mine is unaffected, thank The Lord) preempted GH! I have no idea how Patrick and Robin reacted to the pregnancy! Why must every press conference in the world take place at 2pm?
Oh my goodness, me too!!! I was settling in to watch GH today :happytv: because I haven't seen it in several days and then it was preempted! I live in the area affected, but fortunately we have a cistern (never thought I'd say that)!

There's no longer SoapNet--my go to in the event of a preemption--so what happened today?

Today's episode mostly revolved. around Carly's disappearance. Heather has s her in the boathouse, tied and gagged and apparently she can't figure out she can yell even with a gag in her mouth. While Heather is delivering Carly's goodbye letter to Franco's room, Carly sits quietly while she can hear loud Monica and AJ right outside talking about AA meetings. Everyone starts looking for Carly; Sonny and Michael think Franco is responsible, Franco and Kiki confront Ava and Morgan is going to confront Julian on Monday. Meanwhile, Robin doesn't seem too flipped out over Sabrina, Patrick convinces her the baby won't ruin what they have. Carlos tries to convince Sabrina to go home to PR with him so he can get away from the Jerromes and Sabrina can raise the baby without Patrick finding out.

Thanks so much for the update!! I really hope that the baby turns out to belong to Carlos!! I mean if Franco can belong to Scott, this baby can belong to Franco, right? :lmao: Sabrina had a lot to drink that night...........:rolleyes1

Previews for the week of 13-Jan-2014

    by Carol Banks Weber

**Lucas makes his way back home to Port Charles, once he gets news of Carly’s suspicious disappearance.
Ava attempts to clue Julian in to Lucas Jones’ real identity.
Lucas doesn’t give Julian the time of day.
Lucas and Sam make their introductions as siblings.
Bobbie is shown acting like a typically overly concerned mom amping out about the disappearance of her daughter, Carly, to god knows who, or what fate.
Viewers get to watch Heather victimizing Carly this week, with clever, one-liners, and near-misses.
Carly resorts to groveling so Heather will be merciful.
Carly does the usual trying-to-outwit-her-masterful-kidnapper routine. Run, *****, run!
Michael goes crazy trying to get a fix on his missing mom, by fixating on Franco.
Franco and Bobbie do a full-court press on Scotty to pursue this Carly kidnapping case.
Franco talks to Sonny about the Carly kidnapping situation, to see if he can get a read on her, swearing up and down he’s not a part of it but a victim of a set-up. Will the mobster savagely call Franco a “freak?” and break glass?
It does look like Franco’s getting set up for the fall.
When they get a load of Carly’s trunk, they can’t help but feel she’s doomed.
Kiki yammers at Franco with withering indictment: What’s with the bloody blade?!

Unbeknownst to anyone, A.J. slips away to water his secret Eden. (Code for: imbibe when he’s not supposed to as a lush.)
Michael becomes preoccupied with familial concern for A.J.’s welfare, as well he should.
    A.J. repeats history, drunk driving.
The cub unsuccessfully attempts to pull away from the cougar. Alas, Ava proves she’s a tough act to close with a hapless Morgan.

Britt plans to hold onto the baby that never belonged to her in the first place.
Britt may as well. Doesn’t look like Lulu and Dante are staying together any time soon.
Lulu still can’t bring herself to be around Dante, whom she fast views as the enemy and betrayer. Dante sad face.
Nikolas has wedding bells on the brain—with Britt. Fastest courtship in the history of soaps. Nobody has a gun to his head either. One good round of sex, and the man loses his mind.

Patrick takes Sabrina aside to make sure she’s got her facts straight about this pregnancy.
Instead of delving deeper into Robin’s mental state during her containment, she’s busy obsessing about more ordinary, soapy matters, such as Sabrina’s wrench. Robin takes Elizabeth aside, showing the two women as friends sharing.
Patrick feels it’s his right to probe into Sabrina’s business, now that Carlos seems to be involved. But Robin expects him to butt out.
Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s secret? More Cassadines wait in the shadows, not all of them dead as presumed.
Dr. Obrecht surfaces at GH harboring major agenda.

    Silas v. Nathan, it’s on.
Sam accompanies Silas to visit with his comatose wife, Nina. Unfortunately, shortly after, Nina shorts out.
Det. Nathan West tries to get Silas’ goat.
Ava requires Julian pitch in to eliminate Nathan.
Nathan believes where there’s smoke, there’s fire, especially after recent developments lead to more secrets about Silas thought long buried.
Nathan seems personally invested in nailing Silas for this case.

The worst thing a guy can do is show his desperation. Scotty, Scotty, let Lucy go. The more he tries with her, the more of a psycho he appears, especially when he gets too touchy-feely one day.
Scotty won’t take no for an answer from Lucy. He goes to drastic measures.
Felicia steps in, insisting Scotty leave her pals be.
Scotty immediately jumps to the hopeful delusion that Kevin’s stepping out on Lucy, after he eavesdrops on the psychiatrist’s phone conversation with someone of the female persuasion on the other line. The “honey” cements it for Scotty.
Scotty tries to use the Kevin “honey” line on Lucy, to make her see his light.

If nothing else, this sure builds rooting value for an absent T.J. Rafe delights in the new opportunity he made for himself with Molly as the dubious prize. Rafe is actually stupid enough to believe he’s got a shot with the princess now.

Duke and Anna innocently go about the business of a loving couple, getting ready for the next engagement.
Anna will wonder where Duke goes off to when he’s not with her.

Next week: Anna will soon get hip to Morgan as the guy who plugged Max… Julian manages to get Duke alone. Julian is carrying heat… Shawn puts Morgan on the spot. He smells a rat… Heather intends to set Franco up for his betrayal… Scotty has to bring Franco in… Luke’s at the boathouse, agog… Felix expresses contrition to Sabrina… Who becomes the new chief of staff? Oh my… A witness from Silas’ past sings like a canary... More Cassadines appear on the horizon. They will catch Spencer’s, and maybe Morgan’s eye.

Ava Jerome. Can we talk about her hair? :rolleyes2

I'm sort of liking it! Not totally, and didn't at all the first time I saw her!

But I'm needing a new style and a *variation* of hers, not as full as hers though, might be nice for a change.

Although her hair looks really thick. Or does she have a lot of product on it?

Ava and Julians mom would be great casting. Now we will need some fabulous older men on the show.

Ava and Julian are half-siblings, sharing the same dad (Victor). We already know that Ava's mom is Delia from Ryan's Hope. I can't recall if Julian's mom has been previously mentioned. Apparently Victor had a lot of mistresses and generously populated the earth!

Speaking of wackos, seriously no one at the mental institution realizes that Heather is missing? They showed two orderlies letting her go instead of taking her back one time, so apparently they're letting her have her way. But doctors? Nurses? Other staff? Not one person noticed that she flew the coop yet again?

Not to mention she telling Carly that she took herself to the hospital and made up some story about getting cut, that wasn't a cut it was a stab.

I forgot about that ;) But does Ava remind of Abby a bit. Maybe she is Victors Sister.

I can see her somehow tied to the Cassadines, they're bringing back Victor Cassadine after thirty some odd years, maybe she's to be a replacement for Helena........

I'm so sick of Heather and that giant knife. "This is my knife. He stabbed me with my own knife!"

It just keeps bobbing in and out of her purse.

Like most people wouldn't look twice when they see a disheveled woman with a raincoat hat and sunglasses and a big bag with a bloody knife poking out of it??? But wait, this IS Port Charles after all! I guess maybe I need to watch this past week, I just haven't felt the love, skipped through all of Monday's episode in like five minutes!

It was confirmed yesterday that Kimberly McCullough will be leaving. She has 2 more weeks to tape and then she's done. She said "Robin" doesn't leave on good terms. She sounded not happy about what her storyline and exit story will have been.
