The GH Official Thread Part 3

Just read "Anthony Geary: Actor Announces He Will Be Leaving 'General Hospital' at the end of his contract .

It's time.

Why was Sabrina front and center, performing as one of GH's nurses? She was fired for trying to induce pre-term labor in Ava. She shouldn't have been representing the hospital. I'm surprised she still has her license!

Lucy said that she didn't care that she didn't work at General Hospital any longer. She is still a nurse and she wanted her to be in the show. Not sure why no one else didn't question it though.

What is going on with GH now? Are all of sudden to believe everyone dislikes Laura? Why are they making her out to be the villian?

It's not so much that everyone dislikes Laura. It's the fact that she showed up at Luke and Tracy's engagement party and convinced Luke to get back together with her. Everyone is upset about the way it happened and that Luke so suddenly kicked Tracy to the curb. I have to think there's more to the story than they're telling. Luke wouldn't break Tracy's heart just because Laura shows up. There has to be some other reason why he felt he had to call off the engagement.

I agree that there is more to the story. Either someone is in danger and they must rescue them or something bad will happen in Port Charles if Luke marries Tracy.

Yes, seems very possible. Jonathan Jackson (Lucky) and Nathan Parsons (Ethan) are both slated to make appearances before Luke leaves Port Charles for good. Looks like Holly will also be around somewhere. It seems likely that they'll give Luke and Company one last adventure before he rides off into the sunset.

That sounds fun - I always love seeing "old" cast members return!

Have not seen the show in years. Tried to catch a bit of the 50th celebration, but didn't stick around. I watch the thread every now and then to see what's up in the Chuckles, but recognize little of the people/friendships and families I loved. I'm sure it's time for Tony Geary to head out and I think it will be the last time. I hope they do an awesome job saying goodbye to a character and a storyline with such deep roots.

So Jake is alive? Hmm... :scratchin

Was NEVER a fan of them killing him off and couldn't understand why they would since he's a Webber and Quartermaine but when do the writers ever make sense?

Hope they bring back the same adorable little guy who played him before and so hope they don't screw up this story line too :rolleyes2

I think that they're trying to right a lot of the wrongs that were forced upon the viewers years back, hence bringing Frank Smith back to kill him on screen, bringing back Jason, now the possibility that Jake is still alive. But how was Joss able to get his kidneys if he's still alive???? Oh wait, this is GH, you can live without kidneys in Port Charles!
