The GH Official Thread Part 3

Carly mentioned Bobbie today, I wonder if we'll see a show about her death soon.

I'm thinking she'll die while she's over there taking care of Luke's Estate (or whatever it is she's doing). And how nice that she conveniently sold/turned over Kelly's to Carly while she was gone....though they could have sped up the death announcement timeline a bit and had Carly inherit Kelly's. They'll probably mention Bobbie a few times over the next several weeks. That's what they did with Epiphany -- started mentioning her in passing and then addressed her death.

ETA: I read last night that the storyline of Bobbie giving Kelly's to Carly was written before the actress passed away.

I read speculation that Bobbie's passing might be the solution to Carly's financial problems. She owes the SEC a $5 million fine. It's possible that Bobbie has been making smart investments over the years and that Carly's share (assuming half of the estate goes to Lucas) will cover her debt.

On another note, how does everyone feel about the newest Molly? I've been on vacation and am still not completely caught up, but I did see her initial appearance which aired last week. I just read that the actress is 39 years old, but routinely plays younger characters. The previous actresses were 25 and 24. Age doesn't really matter, as long as she can believably portray the role. But several people have posted strong opinions about her age, which caused her brother to make a statement to defend the casting choice. Apparently, this Molly is intended to be permanent, so we'll see how it shakes out.

She does look older, but didn't realize she was 39, I was thinking more like around 30.
The actress who plays Portia is 50, she could easily pass for 40, even late 30's. I would have never guessed she was 50.

I didn't notice her age, I did notice her voice. I found it grating.

So I have to catch up from yesterday so I can see who may be the next contestant on Who Will Be pushed of the parapet?
The new “nanny” who is working for Mason who showed up at Windermere

So there's speculation that when Bobbie dies, it will be revealed that she was a multi-millionaire (thanks to some sound investments over the years) and her money will be split between Carly and Lucas but it will be enough for Carly to pay off all of her SEC fines.

Speaking of voices, has anyone noticed the voice of the actress who plays Trina lately? For a few days, it sounded like she had a very bad case of laryngitis. Then it started getting better, then worse again. I hope it's just allergies or something, and isn't as painful as it sometimes sounds like it might be.

Was interesting they are saying Molly had an accident, which we didn't see. I wonder if they are recasting the role yet again, maybe they felt this new one wasn't working out. Just seems weird to say she was in an accident when it was something that happened "off camera" so to speak and nothing to do with the plot.

I noticed that today too. I heard Sam on the phone talking about it, and I thought I missed something somewhere. The last time we saw Molly and Kristina they were in Sam's apartment talking. I guess we're supposed to figure out what happened on our own.

As usual, I'm a few days behind, So, we are supposed to believe Kelly's will keep Carly in the style she is accustomed to? Even if the mansion is paid off, the taxes and upkeep on that place? How many coffees and BLT's is Kelly's selling?
It probably won't make her a fortune. At least it will give her a home base to hold court with her admirers/detractors. Hopefully she'll wipe tables and do dishes. A little good, honest work will do her a lot of good.

I'm thinking it would be interesting for Carly to learn that it was Nina who turned in her and Drew. Rather than run to Sonny, Carly could use the information as leverage to get Nina to either give her some money or sign over her half of the hotel. Carly wouldn't take the hotel when Nina initially offered it, but maybe now she'd be happy to after learning what Nina did.

that would be a great twist, if she had Nina under her thumb.

I noticed that, too. I'm guessing the just filmed those scenes out of sequence -- so the ones where her voice is ok were filmed before or after her raspy voice days and just mixed in. Or maybe they needed to re-film a few scenes for some reason and by the time they did that, her voice was fine again.

So do we think LuLu is going to wake up sometime in the next few months (because they will no doubt drag this storyline out as long as possible). Or did they just have this scene to bring up the fact that her house is sitting empty....and Maxie needs to move to a bigger home so Dante will suggest that she move into the house?
