the future of the sleeper chair?

I don't think fire codes are an issue, after all, deluxe rooms and some POR rooms sleep 5 so there is no way a 1 bdrm couldn't sleep 5. I hope to see it everywhere.

POR is made up of individual buildings and the exits and hallways were designed with the sleep 5 rooms from the beginning. That's a very different fire code situation than the VWL or BCV or BWV. Remember it's not about sleeping capacity so much as it's about egress.

It's possible that the chairs would not be an issue for any of the DVC resorts, but only the experts can say for sure.

I don't know if the sleeper chairs will fit in the BCV/VWL/BWV/SSR floor plans. There may be space limitations for a retrofit.

I think we will see them in all new DVC's and perhaps retrofit in OKW, VB and HH where there is room if the design allows.

Of course if they take out the big Television Cabniet and replace it with the sleek Flat Screen that might indeed open up enough room for the chair in some of the older resorts...

I would be tickled pink to sleep 5 in a 1 bedroom.
