As we are just getting in from another great trip to WDW, I have been thinking about how Wendy seems to always outdo me on the ride photos at places like Splash Mountain, Rock 'N' Roller Coaster... For example, the other night at R n RC, she made the Richard Nixon peace signs as we took off. What are the funniest things you've seen on a ride photo (Flash Mountain excluded, of course)?

My bf and I did that on Dinosaur last week. We pulled out a map and both looked at it confused- it looks really funny- even the CM who sold it to us was laughing. Too bad I don't have a scanner

It wasn't @ WDW, but once on a log flume we decided to do something funny... so we did Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil, and... DR. Evil. It turned out really well.

My BF and I did tons of funny one on RnR last week. We did one pretending to be asleep, we did one pointing to who knows what, and a lot more I can't remember. We had already bought the first photo, so I don't have the proof--- sorry! :guilty:

On Dinosaur we didn't get he first photo for some reason (I can't remember) so we rode it again and acted completely surprised and over the top. I do have that one, but it just looks like we are terrified.

Ilovestitch: That is such a cute idea!!!! I never thought of that. I bet it is hilarious! :rotfl:

hulkcoaster: What a cute picture!!!!! :rotfl2:

Another DISer recently posted about trying to do funny stuff in photos. She and her BF pretended to be asleep in one (maybe ToT). That's funny, too!
HAHA! That was me! It wasn't ToT (I'm too chicken) but it was RnR! I wish I had gotten the ride photo--- only we looked more dead than asleep! :goodvibes

Before he met me, my boyfriend and his friend went to WDW and when they went on Splash Mountain they sat in the front row and covered the eyes of the rabbit witht heir hands. Ya'll know that little rabbit that sits on the front of the boat, right? I wish he had the pohoto! :rotfl: He tried to get me to do it this past trip, but I couldn't pry my hand from his arm:

You all were acting...we were terrified for real! It was our first time on Dinosaur and I'm sitting closest to the huge Carnotaur...I know, I look like I'm ready to undo the seatbelt and run from the car. My son is next to me, I'm practically choking him...my youngest daughter is next and then my husband....Behind me is my uncle who looks like he's sleeping, my aunt (no explanation necessary), my cousin...and then you can just make out my oldest daugher who decided to become an ostrich until the ride was over.

Yep, that's legitimate terror you see on our faces there, folks.

LoL! What an adorable picture! Now you will always remember how scary the ride was... and if you forget, just bring out the photo! ;)

:teeth: Great pic!! What a great way to start another boring day at work..

Cocamami that picture is so hilarious!!!

I don't have a story, but my mother who is deathly afraid of rides decided last year to go on splash mtn w/ my dad. She did so well so she decided to buy the picture(to proove to me that she actually went on). They were on the boat with another family, with 2 older teenage boys. Well the boys seemed to think it'd be funny if THEY acted terrified, so in the picture they threw their arms around one another and had the most rediculous scared looks on their faces. When my mom brought the picture home I died laughing, it's so funny!

tricia.

Cocamami I just LOVE your picture!

Years ago, I went to MK and there was a huge thunderstorm early in the evening. Most people gave up and went home. I had just arrived shortly before the storm hit and decided to ride it out. After the storm passed, the park was a ghost town. I rode Splash Mountain and was the only person in the log! Since it was still drizzling, (and a bit chilly, since it was January) I was all wrapped up in a jacket with the hood over my head and since I didn't want to get more wet than I already was, I sat in the back row! Oh, how I wish I had bought that picture!

I didn't have a choice, I was there alone for a conference and really wanted to ride it. What you probably couldn't see in the picture would have been my white knuckles b/c I was hanging on for dear life! :teeth:

(Btw, flip flops rule... just wanted to add my support! ;) )

cocomami, I don't remember the last time I laughed that hard. I have tears streaming down my face. Not just the picture, but your description of it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Too funny you guys! The only ride photo we purchased was the one from Spash Mountain.. we had the look of complete thrill on our faces though!

LoL! :rotfl: You're right, I wouldn't miss a ride just because I was alone. I bet that was so cool to have the boat to yourself. I am such a huge scardey-cat. I always think, "What if..." and my mind would have been playing awful tricks on me.

Thanks for your support. Us pro-flip floppers gotta stick together around here! :grouphug:
